I need more. If you can't give it to me, I'll leave you."
IF then he had not given her what she wanted IF THEN he had continued to be the same, IF THEN he had ignored all her wishes and her desires THEN ALL OF THEM have at least a logic to blame him for her drifting apart.
When you're married you are your spouse's literal blanket. It is a relation of pure intimacy and of intricate trust. It's about hiding their flaws; it's about loving them through thick and thin. Pooja betrayed him first when she didn't ever consider him her equal. No, to her he was always the bachha. To her he was childish, immature. Somebody who needed her to baby him and mollycoddle him so there was never an equality there. It was all about WHAT SHE THOUGHT IT WAS. She never even gave him a chance. Never came clean about how she felt. It was years of lies and betrayal and manipulation. Years of putting on a facade, years of projecting somebody she was not.
AND THE WHOLE HE'S FLAWED. I'm sorry BUT WE'RE ALL FLAWED. He's never going to be perfect. he's a goddamn human. But even through the flashbacks he adored the freaking ground she walked on. He loved her to distraction. He gave her mother the respect he didn't give his own parents. He worshiped her. He trusted her to the point where he'd give her anything she wanted without a second glance. He was so in love with her. And if nothing then all he deserved was bluntness. Honesty.
If only once she'd come clean to him. This man ^^^ this man wouldn't have even tried to change for her? Is this show even for real?
Yes Aditya is flawed. Yes he wasn't a perfect husband or is a perfect man but he never will be. Nobody is a perfect husband or a perfect man so when in a relationship things aren't working out YOU ACTUALLY TALK. You tell your partner that you didn't like this or that or you NEED them TO CHANGE. You communicate. He was open and communicative about himself and his life BUT SHE NEVER WAS. How is this HIS FAULT? WHY SHOULD HE BE BLAMED?
Blame him for being a flawed man. But how can you pass judgement on him as a failed husband when he never even was given the chance to work on it? He loved her. He gave her everything he could. And if she had just once come clean wouldn't he have done everything to save the relationship that meant the life to him?
No, when your relationship goes bad you talk. You work things out. And when that doesn't work out YOU BREAK IT. WHAT YOU NOT DO IS BACKSTAB, LIE, MANIPULATE YOUR HUSBAND and have an affair with someone else and justify it.
He lost his child and that too is his fault? I have never before felt this sick of a show. He was cheated on. HIS LIFE IS DESTROYED. How will he ever go on from here, look somebody in the eye, and trust them? How would he ever learn to trust and love himself again? If this was real life and this happened to me I would've been unable to look at someone and not think is this person lying right now? Are they being real? Are they playing a character?
Because that is what Pooja did. She never considered him her equal. Never respected his intellect. Never even gave him a chance to change. NEVER TOLD HIM SHE WAS PREGNANT. What she did was have an affair. Tell the half the world how incompetent her husband was. Lie, deceive, cheat him constantly. KNOWING FULLY WHAT IT MEANT TO HIM. Take away his self confidence. Take away his life. Break him.
Sorry. I don't and never will feel an iota of sympathy for her and Yash and no matter how the CVS whitewash them and make Aditya the villain HE WILL NEVER BE ONE FOR ME.
HE'S RIGHT. HE'S THE ONLY RIGHT CHARACTER IN THIS MESS.
And this show and this track is a slap on every victim's face. Every single one of them who've been cheated on, devastated, broken, taken apart, are now being told that they were responsible for their spouses'/other-halfs cheating on them in some way. That they had a part to play.
Aditya could've been the reason his marriage could've broken. We can never tell because it never came to it because she never chose that path and so never gave him the chance to make it alright.
But he COULD NEVER BE THE REASON behind WHAT POOJA ACTUALLY DID.
PERIOD.
