A month back..
Their fate was sealed as Waseem Siddiqui and Harshvardhan Hooda decided to give another dimension to their friendship.. They had witnessed Aditya and Zoya go through worst of times and emerge as survivors together..supporting each other through thick and thin.. Waseem and Harshvardhan had realized that Adi and Zoya loved each other and were perfect for each other..even if not perfect..they will embrace each other's imperfections as well ..
Aditya and Zoya had not realized it yet..apparently!!!
Even if they did..they wont admit for the fear of losing only friend, only strength to behold to..
They had lost a lot since that dreaded night.. they lost not only their spouses.. they lost love, their trust on relationships, their self esteem..they lost their hope to live..
In such times..they found each other..though for Aditya it was hate at first sight!!!
Their engagement was announced at Iftar party without their knowledge.. They exchanged the rings reluctantly as they dint want to create a scene..
At Zoya's Place that night
"Abbu!!!"
"Beta wo meri diary nahi mil rahi zara dhundh do please..."
Waseem tried his best to avert the daggers he knew his daughter gonna throw at him the moment he let her talk about today's episode..
"Abbu hume baat karni hai apse..aur ye boht zaruri hai!!"
"Kis bare me beta..diary k bare me.. arre wahi jo apne hume gift ki thi bhul gyi..pata nahi kaha rakh di..budhe ho gye hain hum!!!" Waseem said grinning which soon faded seeing her face burning with anger...
"Abbu allah k vaste anjan banne ki koshish na kare.. Ap jante hain hum kis bare me bat kar rahe hain.. bina kuch jane samjhe aise kaise ye faisla le liya apne humare liye.."
Waseem had to give up on his failed acting skills
"Zoya agar hum ye faisla na lete to hum jante hai ap kabhi ye na kar pati..kabhi zindgi me aage na badh pati.. Ap chahe ya na chahe mane ya na mane humne mehsoos kiya hai k ap dono ki kismat ek dusre se judi hui hai..
Kyu the ap dono us din Mussoorie me.. apka milna bewjah nahi tha.. kyu jab bhi ek duje par museebat ati hhai ap dono ek dusre ko samne khada pate hain.. Zoya allah pak k ishare ko andekha na karo!! Ek bar bas ek bar apne abbu pe yakeen karo!!"
"Par abbu ye jane bina k Adi kya sochte hain hum is rishte k bare me chah kar bhi nahi soch sakte.."
"Zoya.. Humne hamesha tumhari har bat mani hai.. tumhari pasand ki gudiya se le ke tumhari pasand Yash!!!! Aj hum ek Walid ki haisiyat se apse is rishte k liye apse hami chahte hain.. Hum Harshvardhan se vada kar chuke hain.. umeed hai ap hume naumeed nahi karengi!!!"
That was end of discussion!!!
She knew what her dad's words meant to him... he would keep his promise no matter what!!!
She has no choice!! But Adi had!!
At Hooda Mansion that night!
"Dad.. would you care to explain!!!" Adi asked with hands folded across his chest and raised eyebrow..
"What!!! I am your dad after all.. I know whats best for you.." replied Harsh with a mischievous smile adorning his lips.. he knew he tricked his son into it but he knows..it is for the best..
"Dad..what on earth were you thinking.. you just announced it without even..."
"Without even what Adi?"
"Without even asking Zoya about it?"
"So that's a yes from your end atleast right! Waseem will handle zoya.."
"What ! no dad i din't mean that.."
Then what Adi.. you want me to call Waseem and call off the engagement! Alright then.. he acted as if dialling Waseem's number and Adi just grabbed his phone in time..
No dad what are you doing.. why are you acting all childish with me..
Adi.. you are being a kid here.. you need to figure out yourself and let me know your final answer!!!
Ball was in his court now..
He gotta make the life choice!!
It is going to be with or without his Galib!!
Latter wasn't possible!!!
Former was impossible without her consent!!!
As far as he knew her... she wont make the choice easier for him!!!

Zoya looked at her watch for the nth time and still there was no trace of Adi showing up.. She could not sleep whole night..little did she know similar was Adi's situation..
There Jahapanna arrived...
Looking at Adi she felt different today.. was it the effect of solitare which suited itself well on her finger and may be heart too!!
They exchanged pleasantries... and for the first time in life they were actually behaving with chivalry with each other...
"Adi" "Zoya".. they spoke at the same time and and both let out a chuckle..
Pehle tum kaho Zoya!!!
"Adi kal jo hua"
"Nahi hona chaiye tha" said zoya
"I am sorry for that" said Adi simultaneously
There.. Zoya doesn't want this relationship.. thought Adi.. it hit and hurt somewhere..
Aditya is sorry about it.. And abbu wants me to be hitched to the man who is sorry about our engagement!
As usual... they were mistaken!
