I love the way you have summed them up. It is bang on!!
Zoya- it does feel like she does have a lot of growing up todo. She, I think, had a very sheltered upbringing and given her timid nature, was perfectly content being first, under her father's thumb then under her husbands. She is completely oblivious to the changes in her husband...so much that even while she notices that her husband seems disconnected with her and their relationship, she puts it down to nothing. She happily accepts a ring that is not her size, not given to her, as his anniversary gift to her, completely missing the feeling of discomfort that is visible on his face. Really, Adi's dialogue-the one where he says even if Yash had come home with a lipstick mark on his shirt she would have made herself believe it to be hers, was spot on.Adi- on the other hand, dissects every innocuous thing and is viewing it through jaundiced eyes after the accident. Every passing remark Puja made seems sinister to him and his mind has already tried and sentenced her. This event proves that though he might seem childish on the exterior, he, in reality, is jaded and old beyond his years mentally.Adi and Zoya's scenes together are mind-boggling...giving the actors their due, I also think it is because their characters have been etched with amazing clarity. Really looking forward to seeing how they are going to proceed.
I am surprised she fell in love and fought against her family to get married to Yash in the first place as she is totally timid but that also shows she is not weak and has the strength to fight for what she believes in. On the other hand, Adi may act childish but it does take maturity to understand what commitment and trust is the foundation of a relationship. Maybe the childish nature is the shield that he holds up to make sure nothing hurts him.

That's totally right! It was my feeling too...but then she herself says that marrying Yash against her family's wishes was the only decision she had ever taken against her family (read abbu). What ever the reason her father was against this match, I am sure it was not something as simple as a different religion or lower status.
