Nipa is ltl immature mostly becoz of Latapata aunty but she's the most pampered n protected siblings among them.. I don't think she'll ever turn negative in SreeTul story.. Nipa loves Sree too much 😍

I am so utterly disappointed with the way the makers handled this track. Before I start on those, I'll mention one good thing and that is that the air about Tess and Sid's relationship has been cleared and so Mit doesn't need to feel guilty about coming in between.

To elaborate on the points that most disappointed me the most:
1) They completely eliminated the jealousy aspect to it and made it a fricking challenge. A CHALLENGE to Sid. "Can you stay with Mithai and then deny the existence of marriages?". He wasn't agreeing to it in the beginning, as expected, so they used weapon number 2: "Siddharth Modak never loses challenges". Ughh I am appalled at the track they chose, knowing the potential this track held even in a rushed up situation.

2) I dislike how Sid was transformed from a clear-headed individual to one who has many options, chooses none, inconveniences everybody and pays heed to the opinions and pain of none. An absolute muddle-head. When Tess asked him why he wasn't signing the papers, he said "I have my own reasons" and later reveals that its Parboti Aunty he is worried about. Parboti aunty is Mithai's MOM! Did he not once think it right, to discuss with Mithai and take her opinion on the same? How did he think its okay for him to leave Mit hanging in nothingness, with him not making any conclusive decision on the divorce? People are more decisive about Amazon parcels than Sid is about Mithai and her life! To pretend to care for her is a facade!!

P.S. Sorry about the rant, but I am very disappointed :(

I haven't seen the episode but here's what I feel - Parvati Aunty is just an excuse for Sid just like his famous dialogue "Mithai er haathe paaye control nei" .. The hallucination is the actual reason he doesn't want Mithai to leave (that's his only personal reason) .. He doesn't want to share anything related to Arati.. He cannot tell anyone about the hallucination n hence giving all bhul-bhal excuses..

Siddharth Modak never loses a challenge. Ask his seniors, especially Rudra! (yep, I take my words back)

And so his family, under the able guidance of our very own ACP Rudra Dev Banerjee, was able to make him accept 'the challenge' i.e., spend 1 month with Mithai like a married couple.

I had estimated it be a challenge the second I saw Sid looking angry in the new promo. But what was it out of, I wasn't sure. I thought maybe Rudy challenged his position in Mithai's life continuing with the jealousy track, and hence the anger. But I'm utterly disappointed with how the makers dealt with this.

I somehow found it weird that once the aashirbaad drama was over, Sid didn't even once look angry at Rudy. Instead, Rudy along with his entire family was giving him lectures. Absurd.

It's almost as if the makers don't know whether to show that Sid's already in love or still in the process of falling.

So let's assume one month is over, Sid still values his ego more than his love (). The person who has for years been saying that he doesn't believe in 'biyer bondhon ar valobasha' can he just accept these "bogus" concepts within a month?

All of Dadai's earlier plans (if we can even call them so) have failed, then how is he so sure that this one will work? Fine, Sid never loses a challenge. But what is the guarantee that he, after winning, will accept his marriage to Mithai and she'll not end up being scarred for life (sorry I have literally no other words rn, she loves him too much)?

They should have a backup plan for Mithai's life or let her lead it on her own like Pipi said today (I am so happy that we have our old fire waali Apa pisi back😆).

Completely agree with Mishti that this is not the strong-headed and sorted Siddharth Modak anymore. He's way too confused (he's a coughs muddle head coughs) right now.

But fingers crossed. Please (like pwetty pwease with a chewy on top) makers present us with something logical for the upcoming track. I have really high hopes from Mithai's team, so let's hope they don't disappoint us.

Sid still doesn't have any reason to be jealous of Rudy coz jealousy comes when the person you love prioritise someone else over you.. Which is why Tess has been jealous of Mithai.. But Mithai still doesn't hold that position in Sid's life..

Sid still isn't in love with Mithai.. Forget love, he isn't even attracted towards Mithai at this moment.. He has developed an attachment/ care/ fondness towards her but that's it.. Nothing more..

Sid falling for Mithai would be a beautiful process.. And to make it happen the 1st n foremost step taken by the family is to make them stay together.. Coz the 2 out of 3 times SidMit spend the night together (Rajib's house n Manohara terrace) were the 2 times Sid opened up to Mithai.. About his mother n about his fear of darkness.. Staying with Mithai for 1 month would be a huge step..

@bold: Yes, but at what cost. I'm so upset with how the makers are dealing with the track, as I expressed before

@red: Absolutely! Sid is not in love, or he is. The makers dont know. In the bid to stop viewers from leaving and watching competing serials, they might actually end losing out on loyal viewers if they keep butchering tracks this way

@bold: I really wish the makers had shown some progress in terms of Sid's feelings for Mit instead of sending mixed signals. Atleast Sid being shown properly perplexed at the thought of Mit and Rudy marrying and him losing her would have been a treat.

But unfortunately he's not even sensitive or sensible enough to parse Mit's emotions and process that she prioritises him over Rudy.
