Okay I now feel a lot better about the track as compared to before. I now understand that it is just a ploy to get the two to stay together. Sid is still processing his newfound feelings and staying together will do that processing some good. Thanks a lot guys for transforming my utterly negative outlook🤗
But having said this, I must still say that there remains one thing that bothers me. And that is the fact that Sid takes and makes a lot decisions on behalf of Mit without asking her even once. This takes away from the "strong & independent young woman" narrative that the makers themselves built.
