its hard to say what he would have done as he's not done it, but based on his behaviour in other examples, I don't think he would have done the same thing, from the waleema incident he learnt a thing or two and since then hasn't done tamasha before the whole world. note even when aaliya had doubt over barkat's intentions and she discussed this with zain, zain hadn't immediately reacted and created a tamasha, he only did a scene before the family once he had solid proof.
remember how everyone bashed zain for his behaviour during the waleema track, in particularly calling aaliya a chor without knowing the full story. we all blamed him for being unreasonable because he only heard one side of the story (police stating what had happened) and came and created a scene and insulted aaliya. Now, note, aaliya has done the exact same thing, she's heard one side of the story and reacted. so if zain was wrong in the waleema episode, aaliya too is wrong in this situation.
Aaliya's intentions were noble (protecting aayat and looking out for her) but the way she went about handling the situation at hand was wrong. I know many are saying she had no choice as the sec she found out was the moment RiYat were ready to exchange rings, but the best thing to do was to put the engagement on hold and take them into a room to discuss the matter...instead of stopping the engagement and saying its becos riz is deceiving ayat and is the father of gauhar's baby - it was a big accusation 2 make without any solid proof.
