exactly...that's my main conncern even...

she might be more pissed thinking that despite knowing the person of a skatch, Zain just lied that he does not have any idea about him when he knows how much aaliya wants to find that person...😕

I agree but I guess, you can blame it on initial reaction as xox.iloveyou said. The thing is Zain never questioned Aaliya's honesty. Did he? Not straight out, anyway. In her case, it was all about suspiciousness. So, I think because of that --- Aaliya may be looking this from an other perspective. Does that make sense?

yeh but the difference with zain is...zain doesn't sit there sarcastically questioning aliya about her honesty...while aliya does..aliya questioning it makes it wrong becos aliya herself hadn't been honest... zain could turn around and say that u cant question my honesty and imaandaari becos u hid things from me during fahad track too... both have done the exact same things, but aliya makes it out as though her hiding things etc is ok while zain doing it is wrong. and that's where the hypocrisy element comes in.

zain has time and time again explained what he did and why he did it...he said he saved a girl etc...so she knows he did nothing wrong but save a girl's honour...yet she questions him as though she's totally unaware of it. the only thing she's unaware of is the girl's name. at least zain told her what he did without naming the girl, while in fahad's track, aliya hid everything...even after zain questioned her she jus played along with his misunderstanding... the point im trying to make is tht aliya is no total angel herself, she has hid things and lied to save someone and so has zain...so if she doing all that is right, then zain doing that is too... but if she wants to question his honesty then she should be prepared to question her own honesty too... becos from where im seeing it, both did the exact same things.

Fahad Hotel Issue and Aayats Escort Issue are way two different things...

Aaliya Lying about Fahad Hotel Papers was okay and it was not that big deal

But Zain hiding Aayat's Escort Issue from Aaliya is not okay..Cmmon She is her Elder Sis...

Both are correct at their own places ...Like Minded People as we know...

I know the matters are different...ones a lot more serious than the other...but im not discussing the matters im discussing the actions that both zaya took in these situations... both did the exact same thing... yet if aliya did it, its ok, but when zain did it, its wrong. my intention was not to bash aliya as some are making it out to be... my point was why is the honesty of one individual being questioned and not the other despite the fact tht both have done the exact same things.

fahad's hotel papers was not exactly an okay thing, maybe not as serious as ayat's escort thing but defo not an ok thing..it was the entire business..they could have lost it all...

fahad made tht mistake knowingly, while ayat made her mistake unknowingly...she had no clue abt being taken as an escort...

@bold... if its jus abt the fact tht aliya is ayat's big sis and should have known then in tht case zain is fahad's bro...he should have known too then..

I agree...Fahad was fully aware that betting is wrong yet he went ahead i that...Aayat just wanted to help her parents and she was not aware of such consequences

Hope Aaliya will realize this when she hears Aayat's side of the story!

I do not think Fahad's track can be compared with Aayat's track...just like you pointed out in my thread...

Fahad was foolish beyond measure and Aaliya WAS wrong when she stopped Zain...Fahad needed to hear all that and more...

But that doesnt make Zain stopping Aaliya right...

Frankly, if I was at Aaliya's place I would have done the same...If Aaliya had slapped Aayat after hearing her out then I would have been the first one to criticize Aaliya for it..

Zain was scolding Fahad for letting down Usmaan..

Aaliya slapped Aayat for -

Breaking the trust of her parents
Going against their upbringing
Lying to the parents
Not telling her the truth

But most of all for - ENDANGERING HER LIFE/ HONOUR/ CHARACTER

When Aaliya comes to know of the truth about the family crisis + Aayat's real intention...If she doesnt hug and empathize with Aayat then she has some major criticism coming her way from me on Monday...

When Zain screamed at Fahad..he knew the whole truth...Aaliya didnt wait to listen...she should have asked first...I agree but then when you are soo angry...You dont stop to ask...

zain stopping aliya is right becos one aliya doesn't know the entire truth and without knowing it she shouldn't continue to slap and misunderstand ayat... in fahad's case, zain found out the complete truth and then asked fahad and despite knowing that what fahad did was wrong and deserved to be told off, when he was told off, she was the first to jump in and defend him😲

ayat and fahad's situations are poles apart... ayat's is far more serious and intense... but my discussion point wasn't the situations, but the actions of zaya...which were exactly the same yet one's honesty is questioned n not the others... and that's what I felt was wrong.

aliya like the rest isn't perfect... which makes her more real and relatable.. personally my intention behind this post was not to bash aliya but to kinda point out the wrong I felt I saw in her actions...
