TBH...I found the whole track draggy 😳. Even as a non Muslim, who did not understand or know what religious rules she broke, & as a general viewer...it was too damn OOC. I wouldn't mind wearing a dress...because hey, I am used to such attire & have worn it all my life. I found it too far fetched that Aliya would chose a dress like that :/

But well...personally, that to ME is a minor issue. Especially when compared to the way Aliya was shaped up as a character. I loved Aliya bcause she was smart, without being oversmart, intelligent without being a know it all, witty without being preachy...& this track came dangerously close to washing it all down. Zain was childish & nautank-ish, seeing himself like some secret agent out of a movie...dressing up, stealing from a don & whatnot but that is expected from his character. He wasn't OOC.

Aliya on the other hand came off as oversmart to the point of foolishness first with the jewellery. Then the break in plan...heylo..how does ALIYA, the more mature of ZaYa come up with such an idea? 😳. Also her attitude towards Fahad. This topic was brushed off the other day in the forum, but the way she went all sacrificial to help him & even interrupted Zain questioning him was too close too being 'the ideal bahu' character. Who thinks of only the well being her 'sasural', right & wrong be damned.

And anyways...what was it for? The track was filler, lacked an emotional quotient & was off track from ZaYa's previously intense one. Light heartedness...I love, but not such foolishness which stagnates everything. Hopefully the track moves back to ZaYa now. And that CVs take care next time to not mess up their carefully built intricacies.

I hated the Fahad track and I am sure the Aayat track is gonna be equally horrible...
