Well by london return I meant, when usually people live abroad in places like London and US, they tend to distance from their religion and that too if they live there ithout their parents. Again it all depends on individual people on how they manage themselves abroad. But here in both cases, Zoya's and Zain's they have showed them to be not-so-religious London returns. That's why I chose the word "london return" :P

Anyway I hope CVs maintain Aaliya's character in later episodes. If they are making Aaliya chide Zain for his lack of deeni knowledge then they should also show Aaliya practising her deen. As they say, practise what you preach.

@ red : I disagree there. My brothers never prayed regularly (except jummas) when we were in pak but now they go to mosque for every prayer and i am so so proud of them*touchwood*
The thing is how you have been brought up.
Usman is a religious person too but he did not teach his son how to pray. That is a pathetic thing.
It is parents' duty to make their kids pray (by hook or by crook).
Like till kids reach that specific age where they are responsible for their own deeds, parents are responsible for their good/bad deeds.
Beta Namaz parha karo! << this sentence is surely not gonna help to make anyone pray!

I coulnt' agree more. I was so shocked at her outfit, like seriously? what are you trying to portray? Muslims are not like that, and if Aliya is so "religious" she shouldn't even THINK about wearing that outfit and oh god..her lies...i don't even want to get started. :@

The holi thing really pissed me off too. Muslims don't celebrate it man. i understand Harshika celebrating it but why ZaYa -___- definetely not impressed.

Why make a big fuss, it's just a show and not everything is accurate. Also, keep in mind Aliya was in disguise she was not her Aliya character. 😊

And Aliya is never shown praying 5 times a day.. she only prays Fajr and that too Qaza in the sunlight 😆 and now they're having a holi Party coming up.. I don't see no point of making them a Muslim family.. 😕

I don't think you should use the term "Muslims are not like that" my reason for saying that would be i have lots of friends who where clothing like Aliya did in the show.It does not mean they disrespect there morals or there god.I think it's more of an individual choice .

And about lies , isn't that human nature ? Don't we all lie ? I agree her lies are going over the top.But to save fawad's reputation the guy who called her his sister she kept quite i guess she was just fulfilling her duty there . And what she did with zain was exactly what he did to her isn't that what watch the show for ? The nok jhoks ? I don't mean that in any sort of mean way Im sorry if that sounds rude.

And about Holi ! Lot's of muslims that are based in India do celebrate it in fact here in new york my neighbors celebrate diwali even though there Muslim i think it's a individual choice.

Please do correct me if im wrong .I just don't agree with your opinion does not mean your opinion's wrong i just personal don't agree.

And before people start bashing me . I'm not muslim i don't have that much information on it . im just going according my muslim friends perspectives . I myself am fascinated my the islamic culture/religon .

sorry if i hurt your feeling 😊

i found this inspirational ,

The jewellery part...I disagree with...
Suraiya accused Aaliya of selling Abdullah's khandaani jewellery for her 'own' family...thats why she looked hurt..

She loves her parents and would probably sell everything SHE owned for them but not something that doesnt belong to her or family jewels of Abdullahs...especially since the marriage itself is on tenterhooks...
