I think we just have to ignore that its a muslim show and jus treat it like any other drama...
Well that's what I used to do. Treat it like a drama and ignore it. Bare midriff in engagement- no problem still bearable. Backless blouse on Vday- STILL fine to some extent otherwise the whole blouse ripping scene wouldn't have been as sexy as it was :P and now she wears this gown. Really, wearing this gown wasn't really necessary. She just had to don a disguise, not expose her skin. As much as I loved the gown on her I can't forget that Aaliya is Allah miyah's laadli. Didn't expect this from her.
Even in QH, Zoya wore shorts. But that was still acceptable as she was a US/London return, she may not have that strong deeni knowledge. But Aaliya is not a london return, that's where the issue arises.
