I am actually waiting patiently for the track to explore and then probably see a different and strong Aliya ready to face zain and his family.

LOOL .. so trueee :P ! i have a lot of expectations from the show to be honest and yet i'm not diappointed ;) ups & downs are totally normal in a showw so yaa ! be patient & enjoy🤗 mostly BE POSTIVE :D😃

AH! LOVE how positive this post is!

I completely agree. In fact I was telling my mom the same thing about Aliya's transition. She still feels that her Mamu and Mami are being nice to her, she hasn't gotten the stepchild treatment from any of her elders before so it's hard to put that into perspective. Also, Suraiya is very cunning with the way she executes her plans with Aliya. Aliya on the other hand is only looking at what Zain has done so she assumes that every problem in the house is because of Zain. This doesn't give her a broader look towards her other in-laws.

As of how many tears she has shed, well, her character was supposed to be strong but not impulsive or disrespectful. This would be the most inconvenient time for Aliya to go against Suraiya especially since she has everyone including Zain under control. Today, she was teary because Zain said what a burden the marriage has become. But that wasn't because she loves him but because she is trying to make things work and it feels bad when the other person isn't putting in that effort.

But today, I saw ZaYa again when Aliya was asking Zain to say sorry in her dream...it was damn hilarious. Also, how she pours his wine bottle out...WELL DONE!

Honestly, I'm not complaining with the CVs. They need to show a few weak moments to really establish the negativity in Suraiya, Nafeesa and Shazia's characters. If Aliya was strong the whole time, it wouldn't make people (or atleast the TRP aunties) empathize with her.
