Yes, Iget where you're coming from. I guess the makers aren't aiming to hurt anyone's religioussentiments exactly. They're only perhaps trying tojustify Zain as a character, who is a rich, spoiltbrat, who doesn't take religion or laws related to the same seriously.
In a way, the makers have already warned the audience subtely, regarding who or what Zain is all about, as of now. Just as of now. Aaliya as well had accused him of his ignorance, when the whole valeema matter popped up. She'd also made him aware that he doesn't evenknow which hand is used, to greet someone. So looking at it, from the maker's pov, they're only probably trying to show Zain as someone, who is indeed an ignorant, spoilt, commitment-phobic and irresponsible brat.(and ofcourse spoilt due to his mom's influence)
I'm sure, they would counter back the same, with Aaliya's character trying to help him mend his ways, regarding the samesoon.
