She lays her head in his shoulder and talks about how she fears about the future since so many things have happened in the last few days. Amar consoles her telling not to be scared of anything.
- Amar then hands a shoebox as a gift to her. When Purva opens it there's like a big wooden box in which there are similar small boxes. Purva laughs as she opens it and Amar tells her to always remain happy. Purva then leaves to meet Smirti and her son.
- Smirti is playing with the kid when Mihir comes down to leave for office. Smirti tells him to come home early from work and he agrees. Seeing her upset, he asks her if she is still sad about what happened the other day. He tells her to forget it as he understands she's still unwell. He leaves bidding his son good-bye and telling Smirti to take her medicine on time.
- As Smirti is about to leave to her room, Mihir's move comes there and Smirtis hand from the baby. She takes away the kid in her hand while Smirti keeps asking what she's doing? Mihir mom replies that she can't give Smirti the responsibility of her grandson. Smirti is crying and begging her to give her baby back to her.
