Basera : Written Update (Ep. 5 On: 2009-08-21)

Back home, he is unable to forget the face. Baa tells him not to think too much. Kruthika grumbles that she did not want to become a mother so soon. Devkiben tries to make her understands that it was an absolute necessity. If Urvashi became a mother and gave birth to a son before she did, all the importance would have gone to her. Keshubhai decides to have the function in Sanghavi Villa. Nandini goes to return the mobile that has come into her possession by mistake. She reaches Shantanu's house and finds no one inside. She enters a room in which a man on a wheelchair is coughing badly. She is accompanied by Urvashi. They are both bewildered. Nandini goes to the kitchen and fetches water for the old man. He is normal now. She tells him that she had come to return the mobile. When Shantanu comes home Brijbhushan tells Shantanu about Nandni's visit, gives him the mobile and praises Nandini. In the office a meeting is called to decide the fate of the mill in Surat. Keshu announces that even if it is bringing losses now it should not be closed because it generated good business earlier. Ketan gives a business suggestion to improve the production of the Surat Mill. Keshu accepts the idea but he give the responsibility of running the mill to Mehul and asks Ketan to work with his brother. Ketan is quietly nursing the wound of being neglected. He decides the problem with Urvashi. Ketki sees a dream that Ketan has thrown her and Keshu out of the house. She goes to Baa's room in the middle of the night, crying about the dream she has seen. Baa tells her not to worry. She assures Ketki that her sons are very noble. They will never do wrong.
