Okay, so I am here for the last time...

My Itv journey has been quiet a long one. Having a bunch of people at my home of various age from grandparents to kids of my age made me a regular viewer of itv drama, sports, comedy, cartoons , news and what not...

I was told by my mother that I had so much interest in tv serials that I used to dance on the title tracks of serials like banoo mai teri dulhan and I used to say that I like this male character so I will bring him out from the television and make him a doctor and marry him when I was barely 5 years old..

I had watched many itv drama shows of all genres.. Like choti bahu, sapne suhane ladakpan ke, mahabharat, siya ke raam, kumkum, etc. But no serial made a impact on me the way barrister babu did...

It was just one fine day when I saw the shaadi promo in an add of voot on YouTube... My first reaction as I had said earlier was.. Why didn't that guy married her mother? Dono ka life sudhar jaata

Then I started watching the recaps that were uploaded on YouTube by colors channel.. The theme of the show fascinated me.. I started watching it on voot and reading the fanfictions..

This landed me here and I made so many memories and friends here... I am thankful to all of you for making my boring lockdown quite exciting..

About the show I'll say.. I watched the episode over and over and still couldn't get over it.. It was so addictive.. The actors are amazing.. They are still acting fabulous and bringing some more emotions in the scenes which are totally breaking us..

The way the show was proceeding.. I was proud that I am following such a great show which is creating milestones.. I never thought that it would take such a turn in just 1 month that it would start affecting me, my mental peace... I still had hopes and tried to maintain the positivity.. But it broke yesterday night.. They Showed the lead character whom I admired very much supporting polygamy for just some illogical reason was indigestible for me..

If it would have been some other show.. This would not have affected me.. But it certainly was barrister babu and our beloved Barrister Aniruddh Roy Chaudhary...

The man who preached that polygamy was wrong married someone else that too when she is unconscious in front of his wife who is just 12 years old... Man.. This was not the ARC I had signed up for... Even him shouting and insulting his wife in public was not acceptable but we had some hopes that he would repent and apologize in public and do something like he did during HM track... But the scene was just opposite.. Instead of explaining her why child marriage was wrong, he just married someone else???? That girl considered two people as her sansaar:- her mother and her pati babu.. Both of them planned against her and broke her to the core...

It's not the makers fault.. It's our fault to get so much connected to an itv drama show.. We should not forget that it's an itv drama show.. We should not expect that they will show something else because it's an itv drama show..

Never had any serial had so much effect on me that I had not slept for a night.. Yes some scenes made me cry before.. But I am just not able to digest that such would be the case in barrister babu..

All those who are reading this.. Please make sure that you don't get emotionally attached to any kind of itv drama show.. Having fun while watching or watching it as a mere pass time is okay.. But watching it and considering the characters to be real and expecting something from the serial will leave you broken... Just like I am right now and many other people have went through in this one month...

Barrister babu was different... It could be different still... If the makers decide to do something to cover up the mistake they did.. But it cannot be the same as earlier.. They could join the strings again.. But it can never mend the knot...

Rudhita can never be the same...

My heart aches when I write this but I had a lot of expectations from the serial and that's where I went wrong.. I might watch it again after some months or may be not.. But will never be able to connect with serial.. The connection is lost.. Hopes are shattered...

If we exclude the storyline.. The actors are doing a great job.. This serial made me a big fan of Pravisht Mishra and Aurra Bhatnagar.. And I would surely look forward to their projects in future..

Will end this long message for all of you..

I don't know if I would ever return to the forum but will surely miss you all.. Will cherish the memories and friends I made here...

Thank you everyone

And a goodbye💔

Regards,

Nish

hey you were so optimistic until yesterday....don’t give up now....maybe they may just show us something to clear it all up...Did you hear what all the people at the wedding were saying to him....they were telling him exactly what we fans wanted to say....that how can a man who supported and fought for women’s rights Marry another woman when he is already married..so it’s possible that in his obsession to not let Bondita spoil her education he even thrashed his reputation and self respect.. it’s possible that when Bondita passed out,,,he stopped the wedding and now he and manorama are faking the marriage or manorama did marry joydeep but they are pretending that she married Anirudh.. this is my final hope. If Anirudh has truly married manorama I may quit as well.😔.. but all I can say is that Anirudh marrying manorama is totally against his whole character..and if he has then his character has been totally assassinated 😭

Nish 🤗

I can totally feel you behen...

When I initially saw the promo of this show, I felt how did ITV dare to take up such a concept? And what if they spoil it later ?🤣

But i saw few episodes and I was like - this show is different 🤣

Lo ho gaya mera popat!

It is simple yaar Nish, now the story doesn't interest me, because I had always imagined a strong and bold ARC whose words are so powerful that he does not need any action to prove his point.

But that person is lost... I did not sign up to watch this melodrama 🤪

Hey indira🤗

Yes I was optimistic till yesterday

But now I realized I have more priorities in life than a mere itv drama show...

It was my fault that even after knowing that I am doing wrong by continuously wasting time on this show , I did waste my time on the show just because it became addictive.. And you know.. Addiction of any kind is harmful

This track made me believe that all the itv shows just do the same crap.. I was here because bb was different.. It will still be different..

Now, it's affecting me, my mental peace and of course studies

So that's the reason I am quitting🤗

ok...then time out is needed...a fictional tv show that is not even being written properly should not be affecting our lives...we don’t need that kind of stress,,, All the best to you,,❤️🤗
