Part 41
"Oh well...as long as we're together, it's a good idea!" Vikram tells her.
"Thank-god! I thought you were angry with the idea!" Sanvi laughs.
"Any idea coming from you is awesome." Vikram says adoringly.
"Oh really? I'm thrilled from getting your approval..." Sanvi laughs.
"You should be, it doesn't happen that often." Vikram laughs. "So anyways what time tonight?"
"Well instead of going to Maya's we can just meet up at the restaurant around 8 ish?" Sanvi suggests.
"Yeah that works fine with me. Which restaurant?" Vikram asks.
"I'm not totally sure yet—but I'll call her and ask as soon as possible." Sanvi adds.
"Good, call me back then, so I can pick you up." Vikram says.
"You're not going to see me at all before the date?" Sanvi asks in a saddened tone.
"Sanvi, I was saying that for your sake, you girls take so much time to get ready!" Vikram laughs.
"I'm not talking to you right now, but I'll call you back soon." Sanvi laughs.
"Okay, if I don't pick up just text me." Vikram adds.
"Why wouldn't you pick up?" Sanvi asks curiously.
"Just in case. I most likely will pick up." Vikram laughs. "You're already turning into a suspicious wife."
"I am not! But bye!" Sanvi laughs and hangs up.
"Let me try Maya now." Sanvi mumbles to herself. She dials Maya's number, but gets a busy signal. "She must be talking to Arav."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Arav...pick up the phone yaar." Maya mumbles to herself.
"You missed me in 15 minutes? Should I come back to the house?" He laughs.
"Ha—ha—ha! Very funny! But no, you go run your errand, I just wanted to know what you think about going on our date with Sanvi and Vikram there in the same restaurant?"
"Same restaurant?" Arav asks simply.
"Ye—ah. Something wrong?" Maya asks.
"No, I just don't know how I feel about my older brother watching my every move with his friend." Arav admits.
"You've got moves? I'm looking forward to seeing them!" She laughs. "But don't worry, he won't do anything. He'll be too preoccupied with Sanvi anyways."
"That's true. Hmm...okay sure. Which restaurant though?" Arav asks.
"What are you in the mood for?" Maya ask him.
"You're the girl, you get to choose." Arav says.
"Arav, don't make this difficult! Otherwise—my evil side will escape and I'll pick some place that you'll hate!" she laughs.
"You wouldn't—"
"Wouldn't I?" she smirks.
"Fine, um some place Indian please?" Arav suggests.
"Sure sweetie! I'll pick Taj Davat okay?" Maya asks.
"I don't know if it's good or not, but it works for me!" He laughs.
"It's definitely good, now we'll leave from the house like quarter to 8 okay?" Maya asks.
"That works fine for me; maybe we can sneak in some romance before." He adds in a teasing tone.
"Don't get any ideas!" Maya laughs hanging up. She looks at her phone, "Oh, Sanvi called? I better call her back." she dials her number. "Hey Sanvi!"
"Hey..how'd the talk with Arav go?"
"How'd you even guess it was him?" Maya asks surprised.
"Could it have been anyone else?" Sanvi giggles.
"I guess not, but it's the same thing for you too isn't it?" Maya adds.
"Yeah—you're right." Sanvi laughs. "So Vikram said yes, and we can meet at like 8 right?"
"Perfect! Arav said the same thing!" Maya adds happily.
"Awesome, so 8 at which restaurant?"
"Well my dear Arav would like some Indian food for a change, so how's Taj Davat?" Maya asks.
"I love that place! Sure it works fine! And I've heard that this whole week they have an astrologer there too!" Sanvi adds excitedly.
Maya rolls her eyes. "Yay! So I'll talk to you later?"
"Wait! Which color are you planning to where? We can't clash!"
"You take this almost double date thing really far don't you?" Maya asks. "Well I was thinking...a blue Salwar?"
"Awesome! I was going to wear a pinkish shaded saree!" Sanvi adds.
"A saree? Kinda fancy na?" Maya asks.
"I guess, but I want to. And Taj Davat is a fancy place." Sanvi says.
"Okay, suit yourself! Bye!" Maya says, hanging up.
Next Part will be the dates! I know I didn't continue this for awhile; I was just never in a real writing type mood. I hope you all still like this ff! Please do leave comments!
