Part 33
I'm firstly sorry for all the people who weren't prominent in this part, but I promise everyone will be in the Epilogue which will be after this part!
"Wait and watch? We can't do that." Shaili says.
"Shaili's right. We all deserve to know!" Rushvi says.
"You don't DESERVE to know anything guys." Maya laughs going into her room.
All the girls file into her room after her.
"We need to know then!" Simran says. "This whole thing needs to make sense."
"First of all the fact that he's a vampire is hard to digest, and then on top this whole jewellery fiasco." Nishi comments.
"I promise you guys, everything will make sense tomorrow." Maya says calmly. "Now, let's discuss the vampire story! How'd he tell you Neha?"
"Or are you just super smart to figure it all out?" Rushvi adds.
"What do you girls think?" Neha asks all smug.
"From what I know of you, it had to be both." Shaili laughs.
"Ugh, you do know me so well!"Neha laughs. "Yeah, so I kind of thought it all in my head, and as you all know, he can read minds, so voila he read mine too!"
"Wow, I would have never seen this coming." Nishi says.
"I know, and all over some stupid jewellery set?" Maya laughs.
"Which brings us back to the main topic. Who's jewellery set is it?" Rushvi asks.
"And all that, you'll find out tomorrow." Maya smiles. "Now I'm tired. And I wanna dream about Rahul!"
"Speaking of that one...how was it?" Neha winks and asks her.
"Depends on how the car ride with Aditya was." Maya laughs.
"Aditya? Rahul?" Why do we feel so lost?" Rushvi says, gesturing to herself and Nishi.
"Crap! Why does Maya already blurt everything out?" Neha rolls her eyes. "Aditya and Rahul are two brothers, friends of Lanny's , that we met today at the editing studio, and Aditya came to drop me here at the dorm, while Maya and Rahul stayed there."
"So you two, fell for two brothers?" Nishi laughs.
"Easy wedding plans!" Shaili laughs.
"Oh my god, stop it you guys! We're not getting married or something!" Maya says turning slightly pink.
"Exactly, so now, shall everyone leave Maya alone?" Neha says.
Everyone groans as they walk out of the room, except for Neha.
"So, tell me now!" Neha says sitting on her bed. "Whose is it?"
"Neha?! I'm not telling anyone till you all see yourself!" Maya says. "If it was one of us, we'd know right? It's not one of us!"
"Seriously though, who is it then?"
"Neha, try all you want, I'm not telling you." Maya slowly pushes her out of her room. "Now bye!"
Next Day at Lunch
"Has Maya told you yet?" Simran asks Rushvi.
Rushvi shakes her head no. "You'd think being best friends and roommates she'd tell me!"
"Don't sulk; let's focus on finding this out first!" Simran says, pulling her along to the cafeteria. "And don't forget who has their lunch date with Mr. Aryan?"
"Oh that's right!" Rushvi gets immediately upbeat, as she walks in direction to where Aryan stands to get her attention.
"Hey Rushvi." Aryan leans over and kisses her cheek.
"Hi." Rushvi slowly touches her cheek. "How're you this morning?"
"I'm doing much better now." He winks at her.
"Aryan, stop it." She giggles. "If you act like this, I'm not going to be able to have my lunch."
"Okay, no more comments. Except one—" Aryan trails off.
"What?" she asks.
"You look stunning." He just sighs and stares at her.
"Thanks."
They both have a romantic lunch in a corner table of the cafeteria.
In the Afternoon
"Maya, where is she?" Sharad asks as he slides into the seat next to her in their class.
"Have patience, it'll pay off." Maya smiles.
"Argh! I'm not liking this one bit. It's always supposed to be me in your head, and here you are thinking about Rahul, to try to block me out!" Sharad groans.
"Why, you don't like looking at Rahul's face?" Maya asks, grinning dreamily.
Sharad turns and stares at her. "You think?"
"Yeah never mind." Maya turns and stares at the notes on the board. She leans closer to Sharad. "Is this better for you to think about in my head?"
"I do not like you very much right now." He says sarcastically.
"Oh I know, but you know something?" She asks.
"What?" He asks.
"I know initially we had the whole 'liking' awkwardness between us, but now, I'm happy to have a—" she leans closer and whispers in his ear. "vampire," goes back to her normal voice. "as a friend."
"I'm happy to have all of you girls too! And Anik, even though I think he hates me." Sharad laughs.
"After you tell him the truth I'm sure he won't." Maya reasons with him.
"We'll see. But—" Sharad laughs.
Right then Maya's phone beeps, interrupting him.
"One second." She picks it up and quickly reads through the text. "Feel anything different?" she teases him.
"Wait." Sharad goes into deep thinking mode as he could feel a sensational pull towards something, so powerful it felt magnetic. "I need to go. NOW!"
"I've thought of something, one second." Maya says, un-shelving her hair a bit. "Ms. Shah, I'm feeling kind of sick, may I be excused to the nurse's station please?" She holds her stomach for effect.
"Oh of course, Sharad will you please take her there?" Ms. Shah asks.
"Definitely." Sharad says as Maya winks at him.
They both grab their stuff and walk outside to the park with the benches.
"There she is." Maya says pointing to a girl sitting on one of the benches.
"Should I go there?" Sharad asks.
"Why are you hesitating? Go read her thoughts, and go!" Maya says, smiling.
"That's the weird thing, I can't seem to read her thoughts, I'm getting no vibe." Sharad says, confused.
"Want me to introduce you two?" Maya asks.
"Would you?" Sharad asks, cutely.
"I'm going to die for that smile."Maya bites her lip, realizing he heard that. "Pretend I never said it!"
"Won't mention it." He smirks as they both walk over to her.
"Divyanka?" Maya taps her shoulder.
The girl turns around and gets up and hugs Maya quickly.
"How are you Mayu?"
"I'm good Dina!" Maya grins. "And you? Oh by the way, this is Sharad."
"Hello." Divyanka slowly looks at him and smiles.
"Dina? Or Divyanka? What should I call you?" He asks smirking.
"Well, only my close friends call me Dina, because it combines both my names, Divyanka Nathwani. But Divyanka's fine." She smiles.
"I've got to head back to class." Maya says after a few seconds.
"Oh?" Divyanka asks.
"Yeah sorry. But you hang out with Sharad, I'll be back asap!" She smiles and hugs her. "Make sure you dazzle her too!"
Sharad smiles at her and winks. Maya leaves them both alone as they keep talking and getting to know each other.
I lied, there's going to be two more parts after this. 😆 I couldn't fit everything I wanted into this one! It's like really long! And this ff will be finished tomorrow! Please do leave comments! Anyone noticed Maya mentioning Dina in the one where Shaili gets ready for her date? 😉
