In big cities like delhi, and in rich house holds are the women (Kamna) really do docile, innocent, unknowing of the threat around them?
And even in Banaras when men and women are playin holi together how do they expect to control where the colour goes. Besides Amar was just puttig colour on her head.

I guess I can understand Banaras being as convervative but I still have a hard time buying the conservativness of the Singh Parivar.

It can vary from person to person...sometimes we think that can such a person really exist...but then can we really know...since we've not met everyone in the world. There are psossibilities. As for the Benares thing...that even now...(not necessarily in Benares) it happens that people forget all else rational and go to accuse before they can even explain.
