Snehal Sahay, who plays Shalu in Dulhann, is quitting the show because she can't convince herself to play a 40-year-old character.
"I am turning 22 next month but the show is taking a leap and the main characters' reincarnation is going to take place but there are a few characters like mine who will age and I did not like the idea," she reasons.

Agreeing that Dulhann has given her a lot of recognition, she says, "I was happy that I was a part of this show. I shot with the unit for two years. I have spoken to the production house. There are few more actors who also want to quit the show but the production house is quite supportive. The change is the demand of the story, at the same time we can't help it. But I am thankful to the unit and the show as it has given me my first award in a comic role."
Meanwhile, Snehal has also finished shooting for her first film Money Hai Toh Honey Hain. "We shot in Mauritius in December and then we finished some part here in Mumbai last month and now only two days of schedule is remaining. We have also shot the climax here. Ganesh is a nice director to work with, he knows his work precisely."
Sharing her experience of working on the film, she says, "I am playing important part and had scenes with the entire boy gang. They all are friendly with me. We celebrated Celina and Kumar Mangat's birthday on the sets. We used to shoot in the morning and after pack up we used have a singing competition, followed by a party."
Money Hai Toh Honey Hai stars Govinda, Hansika Motwani, Celina Jately, Upen Patel, Aftab Shivdasani, Ravi Kissen and others. The film is directed by Ganesh Acharya and will release by mid- year.
Snehal is also doing Woh Rehnewali Mehlon Ki.
