Chapter 4

The food was nearly ready. Finally it was ready!

Sagar had already gotten up. He was sitting on his bed and thinking about his meeting. Vidya brought his lunch to his room. Sagar was there looking puzzled.

Vidya: Sir, food.

Sagar: Keep it there.

Vidya: I know that trick very well, you won't eat it so I'm going to feed you. Chalo mu kholo.

Sagar: Nahin please!

Vidya shoved the piece of roti in his mouth. Sagar was behaving like a child and Vidya like a mom. After feeding him she gave him some water and told him that in half and hours time they will go for a jog.

Sagar: Okay, but till then we can sit here and talk.

Vidya: Okay.

They both sat on the couch opposite each other.

Sagar: So I find this kind of strange, you look highly educated so why are you doing this job.

Vidya: Actually I saw your ad in the newspaper and so I followed that and went to Chnu-ji. He told me he'll pay me double in one month to take care of you.

Sagar: But how do you benefit from that I mean you could've gotten a job elsewhere.

Vidya: That's true but my family needed money as my dad retired and I was the only one who could try for a job.

Sagar: So you're suffering like one of those serial type things were the girl has to search for a job etc. etc.

Vidya: Ya, that would be me.

Sagar: Tell me more.

Vidya: So Chinu-ji offered and I said okay because of the high salary.

Sagar: Accha so can we go on that jog now and you can tell me a little bit more about yourself.

Vidya: Okay but give me five minutes I'll change into my spare clothes.

Sagar: Of course, I mean you can't jog in a punjabi.

Vidya: That's true.

So Vidya got up and walked towards the bathroom door. She went in. Sagar was busy thinking that the handsomest bachelor and the most eligible one too is listening to a down market girl. He was deep in his thoughts about how he was reacting towards Vidya. Just then Vidya came out in her jeans and designer top.

Vidya: Let's go.

So they both started jogging from the house and through the roads. Sagar and Vidya were sweating so much that they had to stop for a drink. Sagar bought himself and Vidya some Nariyal Paani. They both slurped it up and decided to walk back home.

As soon as they got back home they found Aniket sitting on the sofa. Sagar and Vidya smiled at Aniket.

Aniket: So Sagar how are you feeling?

Sagar: I'm feeling good.

Aniket: Thanks Vidya, just a couple days more and you can go.

Vidya: Ji sir. Tho mein chaloon.

Aniket: Ya sure. Bye bye.

Vidya: Bye.

Sagar: Bye.
