Chapter 3
Early the next day at about 7:00 Vidya left for the Singh Mansion. She was very nervous as she was working for such a big businessman. She finally arrived at the big mansion. Aniket was waiting for Vidya at the doorstep. Vidya greeted him.
Vidya: Arey sir, why are you out of bed. Come on upstairs!
Aniket: Mein wohā¦
Vidya: Arey sir, batein baad mein.
Aniket: Nahin actually mein Sagar ke jiju hoon, Sagar nahin.
Vidya: Oh, I'm so sorry sir.
Aniket: No, it's no problem. Andhar aao.
Aniket took Vidya up to Sagar's room.
Sagar was lying in bed staring at the ceiling.
Aniket introduced Vidya to Sagar and Sagar tried to be polite and then Aniket took Vidya to the lounge and sat with her and talked to her about Sagar. Aniket told her that Sagar is very fussy about many things and it's really hard to please him. He is not very polite, if he doesn't like something he'll tell you straight, if you like it or not. He is also very sharp at words and is very straightforward.
Vidya was thinking that oh god he's the exact opposite I imagined, how am I going to handle him? Well what can I do now? I've already accepted this job; I'll have to hang on till the end. Aniket was explaining what Sagar likes to eat and he left Vidya with a list of things that she needed to do. Aniket then told her that he's leaving for the office. Aniket left for the office and Vidya checked what was on the list.
1.) Make Sagar's breakfast which consists of scrambled eggs, a rash of bacon and baked potato with 2 meaty sausages.
2.) Make sure Sagar takes his tablets ā 2 red ones, 1 small white pill.
3.) Make sure Sagar exercises.
4.) After exercising make sure he drinks his orange juice.
5.) Make him rest for two hours while you prepare his lunch.
6.) Make him eat lunch. Ask him what he wants and make it. If you don't know how to make it then use the cook books which you'll find in the cupboard.
7.) After that take him for a 2 hour jog.
8.) Then, make sure he is breathing properly and has no headaches.
By that time I'll get home and attend to the rest and at 18:00 you can leave for your house and your duty ends.
Vidya: So breakfast first!
Vidya quickly took out the eggs and broke them. She made the eggs just the way Sagar liked it and then for the bacon. She took out the strips and left a bit pf rind on them. She fried the bacon and placed in on a plate. Now for the mutton sausages, she took 2 out and put them in the pan. Everything was done. She laid each thing out perfectly.
She took it to Sagar's room. Sagar was reading his news paper where his article was published.
Vidya: May I come in.
Sagar: Ya, come in!
Vidya: Here's your breakfast.
Sagar: Thank you! Did you read my article?
Vidya: Yes sir, this morning I read it.
Sagar: Good!
Vidya: How did you like the breakfast?
Sagar: It's nice.
Vidya: Thank you.
Sagar: You made it? Why didn't Ramu (servant) make it?
Vidya: Aniket-ji ne kaha.
Sagar: Never mind it's okay.
After Sagar finished she took the dishes downstairs and took out his tablets and some water and kept it on a tray.
Sagar told Vidya that he doesn't need the tablet but Vidya was stubborn and made him take the tablet. Sagar thought it was the first time he followed some ones orders. He was shocked!
Vidya: Ab number 3! Hanh, exercise!
Sagar: Do I have to?
Vidya: It's Aniket-ji's orders so please I don't want to get fired on the first day!
Sagar looked stunned, someone was actually ordering him around but he obeyed as if Vidya was his mother.
Sagar quickly dressed up into his tracksuit and he started his push ups. Vidya started counting 1ā¦ 2ā¦ 3ā¦ 4ā¦ 5 and so on. He did 100 and there was full sweat all over his body. By now Sagar had taken out his tracksuit jacket and therefore was bare chested. Sagar was not very tough but still he had a six pack which came on in a few days and would go in a few days.
Vidya: You have maintained quite a good body.
Sagar blushed and thanked her for saying that although he knew that she didn't actually mean it.
Vidya then brought his orange juice and he hesitated once more. But Vidya never gave up she fed him the orange juice and checked his temperature. There was no temperature which was a good sign.
Vidya: Bas, now you have rest for a while but before that tell me what you want for lunch?
Sagar: I'll have Chicken Tandoori.
Vidya: Okay.
Sagar then got into bed and rested his head. Vidya was clearing up the room but she didn't see the water which was spilt on the floor by Sagar and she slipped and fell on top of Sagar on the bed. She hugged Sagar. Sagar hugged her as well.

Vidya then came to her senses and got up. Sagar asked her if she was alright and she was fine. She apologized and went to make Sagar's lunch.
Vidya started cooking. She prepared the dish so well just the way she was instructed to. Sagar on the other hand was snoring and sleeping peacefully.
