Buaji gives gifts to Mahua and Chandra. When she asks about their husbands, Chandra accuses Vidya, while Mahua remains confused. Vidya does Sagar's aarti and Buaji sees this. When Chinu questions Vidya about this, she tells him that she is just fulfilling her promise to be the 1st one that he sees when he wakes up. Buaji is surprised. Vidya makes kheer for Aniket and tells Bharat to bring it to him. Buaji sees that Aniket is not eating, so she brings Vidya to feed him. She tells Sindoora not to worry as she would supervise Vidya 24/7. Sindoora arranges a pooja where she lights a lamp, praying for Aniket. She then purposely spills some oil near the candle. For the pooja, water is needed and Vidya goes to get it. Coming back, she slips on the oil and the lamp turns off. Sindoora starts her drama and Sagar accuses Vidya of being the reason of his sister's sorrow. He is about to kick her out, when Buaji stops him. The next day, Sagar is yelling to a servant about not having his water or clothes. Vidya tries to bring it to him, but he yells at her. She then gets hurt from a centerpiece, and Sagar gives her medicine and softens up. Buaji then gives Vidya a choice. She tells her that she can either take a blank cheque and leave the house or stay in the house as a servant. Vidya is shocked, while Sindoora happily tells Aniket that she has fully trapped Vidya. The next day Vidya overhears Sindoora saying how Sagar's company has just suffered a big loss. Vidya begins to hold herself responsible. She tells Buaji that she will take the blank cheque and leave. Buaji is disappointed because she really thought Vidya was a good person. Sindoora is satisfied. The next day Buaji sees Vidya doing pooja and asks the pundit what Vidya was doing. He tells her that she fatsed for 48hrs for Aniket's health. Buaji is thoughtful. Sindoora tries to steal the blank cheque, but accidentally takes the wrong paper from Sagar's room. Buaji sees the cheque and asks Vidya why she didn't take it. Vidya tells her that she wants to leave the money for Sagar. They get into an argument and Vidya finally says that she only wanted to leave the house to keep her husband happy. Buaji is glad to see Vidya's true side. They hug and she tells Vidya that they will surely bring Sindoora's truth out in front of the family.
