I mean... she dreamt the whole sequence of Sagar coming to her and telling her that she is very beautiful...... she cannot be dreaming that unless she herself thinks she is beyond beautiful hai na? 😛😆😆. It looks pretty vain to me! 😛

Of course she is very pretty...😳 but she is supposed to be this naive girl who is not aware of it! 😛😆😆

I don't think so. Shes not being vain, she is just wishing her husband would say nice things to her. I'm sure most wives feel like that, no???

Yeah she is pretty, but I don't think she has it in her to b vain coz she doesn't think like that

I agree with Atohani, Vidya is not vain at all. She just yearns to be loved and treated with tenderness from her husband. She wants his recognition... her person, her looks. She is just so naive to think that life is still a fairy tale after all she has been through.

True.. every wife dreams that her husband will say nice things about her... I did not deny that... but I won't expect my husband to say "Wow! What a great figure" when I need to lose another 20 lbs!!! 😛 😆 😆
I would not expect my husband to tell me "You look so beautiful" if my face is covered with a facial mask! 😛 😆 😆
What I mean is.... you dream of things that are close to reality.....unless Vidya *knows* that she is beautiful, she cannot be dreaming about it. That is all.
BTW, it is not wrong to be vain. A little vanity is good!!!
I have never seen her being vain until now that is all! 😊

Not vain but despite being such a beautiful woman she hasn't been called "beautiful" like a wife expects. Till now there has been no MAN in her life. Poor girl's dad passed away when she was young and so she wasn't exactly pampered as princess. Then she got married to a mad man who wouldn't mean "pretty" in the way a normal guy would. Its just her desires coming out...thats all. 😊

even the plainest of women would like to hear their husbands compliment them at least once. arun is perfectly right. vidya is just like most women who dreams her husband will compliment her & shower her with love. i don't think dreaming your husband calling you beautiful can be considered vain.😊

Like everyone has already mentioned, she too yearns to hear sweet nothings from her hubby 😳 There's nothing wrong in that 😛

I'm sure if this definition of vain were true, all us girls on IF are vain as well! 😭

No, she's not vain at all. How can you blame her. She has been married for so long and never had that kind of relationship with her own husband or anyone else. Any married woman like her would have dreams like that. She had never been complemented like that so what's wrong in her imagining her husband saying something like that to her, no? 😳
