"Vidya....woh mein -" "Aap please, kuch bhi mat kahiye." "Dekho Vidya, meri baat suno. Mujhe nahin pata tha ke Esha andhare se dar tee hain. I really didn't know." Saagar said, trying to defend himself, but clearly, it wasn't working. "Kaise pata hota aap ko?" Vidya asked, still trying to calm Esha down. "Theek kaha tumne. Kaise pata hota? Itne der mujhse door rakha Esha ko -" Before Saagar could finish his sentence, Vidya needed no more clarifications from him, and prepared to leave, placing Esha in her stroller. "Mujhe ek moka bhi nahin dogee, Vidya?" Saagar asked honestly. Vidya looked up from Esha's stroller, to see the honesty in his eyes. As much as she wanted to say "Yes, I forgive you!" and hug him tightly, she couldn't. All because of one stupid letter.
It was the letter that was stopping her from doing anything. It was the letter that was becoming a barrier between her and him. But the way he's talking right now, its like he totally forgot about it. As if it didn't even exist. "Aur wo khath?" Vidya asked, looking him into the eyes for the first time since they met. Saagar's questionable face turned into one that showed interest. "Yahi toh meh tumse kehna chahtaa hoon. Mein….mein usse beeta huwa kal samajh ke bhoola dena chahtaa hoon. Uss khat ne humare teeno ki –" and then correcting himself, "Humare chaaron ki zindagi barbad kardee. Tumne who khat likh kar –" Before Saagar could finish his sentence, Vidya started her. "Aap yeh kaisi baatein kar rahen hain? Humne khat likha? " Pauses, and then continues. "Lag taa hein humse door rehkar aap ke dimaak par bhi assar aa chukaa hai. Khat humne nahin, aap ne likha tha, yaad kijiye. Dekhiye, who khat aji bhi humare paas hein, humne samaal kar rakha tha takei agar app humse kabhi bhi mile, hum aap se pooch sakei, ke aapne aisa kyun kiya?" Vidya took out a folded up piece of paper from her purse and began unfolding. "Vidya, maine to koi khat nahin likha, aur tumne jo khat lika who abhi bhi mere paas hain. Maine bhi tumhari tara socha." Then Saagar too takes out a piece of paper from his pocket, and both end up with two different letters that they themselves didn't' even write.
They both bring the letters close to each other, examining each others' letter. "Yeh maine nahin likha. I didn't write this." Saagar told her, "Humne bhi nahin likha." Vidya said. They both took each others' letter, and read it through. "Yeh chittee tumhe kis ne di?" "Sindoora didi." Vidya replied. "Mujhe bhi!" Saagar said, with confusion in his tone. Something was up, Saagar thought. "Agar yeh chittee tumne nahin likhee, aur maine bhi nahin likhee….toh iska matlab hai…" his voice faded away realising the answer to this riddle. "Iska matlab hai ke yeh chitthee Sindoora didi ne likhee…. Par kyun?"
During all this, Vidya and Saagar were so lost in each other that they totally forgot about their surroundings. "Erm, hello….detectives?" Tusshar said waving his hands in front of the two. Saagar and Vidya broke out of their trance suddenly realising that Tusshar was still here. "Ab iska jawaab toh sirf Sindoora di ke paas hoga. Lekin filhaal, aap dono…" What he was trying to say, or rather ask was whether they were going to make up or not. He really, really did from the bottom of his heart want that these two get back together again with their kids, but somewhere deep down, his heart wanted that not to happen, and instead of being with Saagar he wanted her to be with him. Saagar looked into Vidya's eyes, and then bend down on his knees. "Kya abh bhi tum mujhe maaf nahin karogi Vidya?" Vidya noticed the pain and regret evident in his eyes. After what had just happened, it truly wasn't his fault anyway. As she put the pieces of the puzzle together, her eyes began to brim with tears, and she put her both hands on Saagar's shoulders and brought him up to stand. Saagar stood with his eyes down, but a tear rolling down his cheek. Vidya wiped that tear away, as Saagar looked into her eyes with hope. Vidya then tighly hugged him like a big bear and slowly, Saagar's arms reached to hug her back. "Aisa bohot kuch hein Esha ke baare mein, jisse aap ko abhi bhi jaan na hain. (Gave out a little laugh) Woh anjaan logon se dosti nahin karti." :Lekin mein to uss ka papa hoon, who mujhe kaise anajaan keh saktee hain?" Saagar said, breaking apart from the hug. "Woh to aap ko hi jaan na parega." Vidya replied, wiping away a tear about to come out.
They both turned to face Tusshar who now had his head down, feeling a little strange in between all this. "Tusshar, aap ne jo kiya, who koi bhi dost nahin kar sakta." Tusshar looked up, "Ab thanks mut kehna Vidya." with a smile on his face. "Maine jo kiya, ek achche dost ke liye kiya. Dosti ka farz nibhaya hai maine." "Really Tusshar, thanks a lot for everything." Saagar said, putting his hand on his shoulder. "No problem, pal."
They six of them left the shopping mall, and now it was decided that Vidya was going to step back into Singh Household once again. With the help of Tusshar, all the things were shifted from Tusshar's apartment to Singh Household via a shipping vehicle. But none of the things were inside the house yet. Well yeah, if out of nowhere, things related to babies came into the house when there really wasn't a baby in the house, wouldn't everyone be shocked? So, they both decided to give everyone a surprise.
In the car…
Saagar: Um…Vidya? Ek baat pucchoo.
Vidya: Ji puchiye.
Saagar: Tum Tusshar ke paas kaise poch gayee?
Vidya: (punched him playfully on his shoulder) Yeh mazaak ki baat nahin hain.
Saagar: (laughing at her response) Just joking, but seriously, tum aur Tusshar mile kab?
Vidya: Sach yeh hai, ke jab hum uss raat ke baad, subha mein utthe, toh ghar mein koi bhi nahin tha.
Saagar: Kaunsi raat?
Vidya: Jab humare aur ap ke beech jhagra huwa tha…(her vioce fades away)
Saagar: Oh…(his voice fades away too trying not to remember that night)
"Ek baat kaan khol kar sunlo," Saagar said, with rage in his voice and anger in his eyes. "Tumhe hum dono ke beech mein si kisi ek ko chunna parega. Tumhara patee, ya phir yeh godh liya huwa (adopted) bachcha." He ended, pointing to Sameer, and Sameer stared back with fear in his eyes. "Yeh app kaise baatein kar rahein hain? Hum….hum aap dono ke beech kisi ek ko kaise chun sakte hein?" Vidya replied, sobbing at the same time. "Bas!" Saagar said, raising his hand indicating her to stop. He looked her into the eyes, and said very confidently "Mujhe apna jawaab mil gaya." And then stormed upstairs to their room and slammed the door shut very loudly.
Vidya: Sirf Sindoora did thi ghar par, aur koi nahin. Jab hum neeche aye, to Sindoora didi humara bag le kar neecha kharee thi. Aur unke haath mein ek khat tha, wuhi jisse humne socha ke aap ne likha. Sindoora didi ne humein bataya, ke yeh khat aap ne likha tha, humare liye. Aur humse binti karee, ke hum jald se jald yeh ghar chod kar chale jaye. Unho ne humara saaman bhi pack kar liya tha. Issi galat femi ke waja se, yeh sab huwa hain.
Saagar: Ab toh, ghar jaa kar hume di se yehi sawaal puch na hain, ke yeh galat femi kyun? Kyun peda ki yeh galat femi hum dono ke beech.
Saagar and Vidya drove home to Singh household, and took all the luggage out of the trunk. First Saagar entered. He opend the doors, and everyone's eyes fell upon the door to see Saagar alone. "Saagar, beta kahan chale gaye the tum? Kitni fikar ho rahee the hume…" Maa said. She went up to him all worried making sure he was alright when her eyes fell upon the second figure walking in. Vidya walked in, with Sameer by her side holding her hand, and Esha in her arms.
