hi all !!
after watching todays episode of BMTD , i only thought that there are so many movies that can be related from this serial.
thought why not make a list of all those movies that reminded me this serials story-
1.'khilona' stars sanjeev kumar and mumtaz- heroine takes care of hero, marries her (they exchange a garland made of chunnai/duppatta) and she becomes preganant. hero doesn't remember after he regains back memory but accepts her in teh end.
2.'sadma' stars kamal hassan and sridevi- hero tries to remind the heroine who regained back memory but heroine doesn't remeber anything and infact gives him something to eat(quite heart wrenching climax actually.
3. 'saath paakhe bandhan'( bengali movie)stars uttam kumar and suchitra sen- hero forgets heroine and goes back to his old life. when his wife (whom he had married when he was having amnesia like sagar) turns up and he doesn't remember her. she becomes his niece's teacher to be just near him.
4. 'karz' stars rishi kapoor, simi garewal, raj kiran and tina munim. here in the starting of the story . the hero(raj kiran) marries simi garewal (villain) and she kills him near a temple (like how they showed sagar remebering that his accident happened near this temple ), the hero in this movie dies and is born as rishi kapoor.
oh my god! have i missed any more stories/ movies ?? let us see how many movies we are made to remember thro' this serial ! but still the serial is good i would say.
anyways, if any of you is remembering any other movie that reminds you of situation as shown in this serial , perhaps you may mention in this thread.
