Part 14
Recap: sagar and vidya have both agreed to getting married thinking that the other person is going to say no. There wedding is set to take place on the same day as chinu and shalu's.
Sagar is still very shocked as he can not believe what he just heard. Sagar's dad comes close to sagar. He hugs sagar and says "dekha beta mainey kaha tha na kay vidya he iss ghar ki dulhan banay gi." Sagar has a forced smile on his face as sagar's dad leaves.
Sagar thinks to himself "what a liar vidya is. She said she would say no but yahan tou mamla hi ulta hogaya, ab mein kya karoon". As sagar is thinking this chinu comes smiling from inside as he has just heard the news. He comes and hugs sagar and says ' man ever since childhood we have been together and all the important things in our lives occurred almost at the same time and look even now we are getting married on the same day, isn't it great?"
Sagar looks irritated and says "what great? Issey bhi koi shaadi kehtay hain"
Chinu: tou kisey kehtay hain
Sagar: I don't know yaar. I mean I heardly know vidya. And for all I know she hates me.
Chinu laughs and says "sure she hates you that is why she said yes for your proposal"
Sagar looks as if he is believing what chinu is saying
Chinu: arrey sagar yeh ladkiayan jab ghusa aur nakhre dekhati hain iss ka matlab hota hai they like you u know
Sagar: what? u mean to tell me that vidya likes me that is why she gets irritated with me all the time
Chinu: sure… think about it. why do u tease vidya all the time
Sagar: I don't know…. Because it is fun
Chinu: nope. U tease her cause u like her and that is why it is fun for u
Sagar: okay fine I tease her maybe because I am attracted towards her but for marriage u need love and it is not there
Chinu: since when have u sarted believing in love
Sagar staires at chinu and says "I don't believe in love but I am just saying"
Chinu: keep saying bacchu but the truth is that u are getting married now and nobody can stop that wedding.
Next scene at vidya's house
Vidya is kind of angry and has her hand on her forehead and says outloud "yeh sagar ko tou mein chodo go nahi, yeh kya kardia uss nay, ab meri bhi shaadi ho rahi hai" As she says that shalu walks in and says "haa shaadi tou ho rahi hai par woh bhi sagar say,yeh zara hiraani ki baat hai"
Vidya: I know, uss lafangay say meri shaadi ho rahi hai.
Shalu: apne honay walay pati ko lafanga bulati hai sharam nahi aati
Vidya: nahi aati
Shalu: chal koi baat nahi, shaadi kay baad sab theek ho jayega, tujhey itna accha pati mila hai. Tujhey tou hush hona chahiye
Vidya: accha pati, my foot. Tu dekh tou ab hamari shaadi jo ho rahi hai uss kay baad mein karti kya hoon
Shalu: kya kare gi tou, itna accha tou hai sagar aur tujhe say pyaar bhi tou karta hai
Vidya: pyaar? Mujh say I don't think so
Shalu: aur nahi tou kya. Sagaai pay dekha nahi tunay uss ki annkhein teray chehray say hut hi nahi rahi thee
Vidya: really, mainay tou notice nahi kiya
Shalu: tou pagal hai iss liye, abb chal nichey
Vidya: nichey kyun?
Shalu: all the ladies have gathered around as they are planning our sangeet and also they have brough some jewelry and clothes which we are suppose to look at and than pick to wear and buy.
Vidya: do I have to
Shalu: yes u have to because it is your wedding.
Vidya makes an irritated face as shalu and vidya both walk down stairs.
There are many ladies sititng in the family room downstairs looking at clothes and jewelry as they see vidya and shalu coming down stairs. One lady says "dekho dono dulhanay bhi a gayi"
All the ladies look at shalu and vidya as they come and sit on the couch as all the ladies are sitting on the ground. Some lady starts talking to shalu. But vidya is just sitting there as she is not enjoying anything at all. She is about to get up and leave when one women stops her and says "arrey vidya beta kahan ja rahi ho, yeh dekho mainey tumharey liye aik bahut hi pyaari sari haridi hay issey pehan kay dekhayo" Vidya look at the sari, it is beautiful red bridal sari with heavy embroidery on it. Vidya smiles and takes the sari and thinks to herself "I don't know how to wear a sari but anyhow I will go and try to see what I can do"
After about six minutes vidya comes out and all the ladies start laughing as they see that vidya has tried her best but still couldn't put the sari on and she just raped the pallu part around her body. Vidya notices everybody laughing and takes the pallu part of her sari off and is just standing in choli and skirt of her sari and says "issey kaisey pehntay hain"
One lady from the group shouts "apney honay wale pati say seekh lena kaisey pehnatay hain"
Everybody laughs but vidya doesn't find it funny. Another lady from the group says "nahi pati say madad mangay gi tou woh iss ki sari band nay kay bajay khol day ga"
Vidya looks at the lady and says "woh meri sari kyoun khole ga" all the ladies look at vidya laughing as the same lady says "arrey tujhey nahi pata pati sari kyoun kholta hai"
Vidya nodes her head indicating no as shalu is laughing along with everyone. All the ladies first think that vidya is just joking but than they realize that vidya is serious and she seriously doesn't know anything. One lady gets up comes to vidya and takes her with her sits her on the couch and says "vidya tou apni hindi films nahi dekhti" Vidya jumps in joy and says "woh tou mein bahut shouq say dekhti hoon"
Lady: tou tujhey pata hai kay films mein suhaag raat kay scenes mein kya hota hai
Vidya thinks to herself and says " haa ladka kamre mein ata hai ladki say thodi batein karta hai aur phir gana lagta hai'
Lady hits her forhead with her hand and says "ab tou tujhey tera sagar hi btay ga sub kucch hum teri madad nahi kar saktay"
Vidya: kya btay ga mujhey, aur aap kyoun nahi bta sakti
Lady: ab tou tujhey teri suhaag raat pay hi pata chalay ga
Vidya: kya pata chaley ga, kya kare ga sagar
All the ladies laugh as they find it amusing as to how nave vidya is. Vidya just think to herself what will sagar do.
