Part 12
Vidya is packing her bags. She is in deep thought.
How could Sagar do this to her? How could he betray the one woman she thought he loved the most?
His wife, his angel, his best firend? Vidya bursts into tears as she remembers the times when Sagar
was mad.
~Flashback~
Sagar:Vidya?
Vidya(eagerly):Ji?
Sagar:Vidya, tum meri saabse achi, meri saabse achi dost hoon.
Meri best friend!
Vidya smiles and they both hug.
~End of flashback~
All memories come back to her. The time Sagar first kissed her, the time Sagar actually
accepted her as his wife, the time when Vidya was accused of killing Bharat's teacher
and when he called Vidya his best friend, his wife, and his angel!
She weeps hysterically at the edge of her bed.
Vidya:(crying):Aapne humhare saat aisa kyu kiya? Kyu? Kyu?
(wailing)
Meanwhile, in the other room, Sagar is remembering all the times he spent with
Vidya after recovering. The time he accpeted her as his wife,
the time he first realized his love for her, and last night, the intimate moments they had shared.
Sagar:Vidya, tum muhjhe kyu nahi samhaj pa rahe ho? Kyu?
Then he remembers how Surili had tricked him.
~Flashback~
Sagar was simply walking in the hotel hallway, when someone grabbed him and pulled him inside one of the rooms.
Sagar:Excuse me? Yeh bhi koi-tum?
Surili(smiling):Haan, main. Kitne din se hum tum nahi mile Sagar.
Didn't you miss me?(she waves a hand through his hair)
Sagar(angry,grimacing look):Surili, mujhe nahi lagta hai, ki iss duniya mein koi bhi tumhe yaad karega.
Now, let...me...go!
Surili(still smiling):Sagar baby, calm down! Agar woh Vidya ne sunliya toh phir kya karoge?
Sagar(points his finger):Don't you dare...say anything...about my wife
Tumhare liye acha nahi hoga!
Surili(laughs):Oh really Sagar? Kya tum usse...actually... pyaar karte ho?
Sagar:Haan, mein karta hoon. Ab mein tumhe akhri baar-
And then Vidya came into the room.
~End of flashback~
Both Sagar and Vidya kneel down to the edge of their bed and cry.
(Maula mere plays in the background)
~After a couple of hours~
Sagar comes inside Vidya's room.
Sagar:Vidya?
No reply.
Sagar:Vidya, chalo. Flight ka waqt hogaya hai.
Vidya quietly gets up and walks toward the door.
Her eyes are swollen and red. Sagar urges himself not to say anything and closes his eyes.
Vidya(sniffling):Ji. Chaliya.
They both leave for the airport.
Meanwhile, Tusshar and Barkha follow them.
Barkha(whispering):Tusshar, ghar jaake kya bolna hai, yaad hai na?
Tusshar(whispers):Haan, ab chalo, warna flight chalijagi.
During the entire flight, neither Vidya nor Sagar say a word to each other.
Both are lost in their own thoughts, wandering about, trying to avoid eye contact.
Tusshar:Oh my god. Yeh log toh kuch bhi nahi bol rahe hai.
Barkha:I know. Kahi sach mein Sagar aur Surili-
Tusshar(in shcock):BARKHA! Tum aisa soch bhi kaise sakte ho?
Sagar ko Surili sirf nafrat hai, aur kuch nahi!
Barkha:Haan, mein bhi, pata nahi kaise...
~At the Singh Home~
Sagar and Vidya enter their home.
Sagar:Hello? Koi hai?
Aniket:Arre? Tum dono jaldi agaya.
Vidya:Woh jijaji, hume aapki yaad aa rahi thi, so hum agaya.
Chinu:Chalo acha hai bhabi. Humhe bhi aapki aur dada ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi.
Maaji: Aur mujhe toh saabse jaada.
She performs aarti in front of the couple before they step into the house.
Maaji:Chalo. Ab tum dono jaake aaram karo.
Sagar and Vidya both reluctantly walk up to their room.
~In SV's Room~
Vidya is seperating the room with tape. Sagar sees this and is confused.
Sagar:Vidya, yeh tum-
Vidya:Humhne kamre ko do mein baatwa diya hai. Kabhi bhi yeh maat par kariyaga(points to line)
Sirf agar aapko bathroom jaana ho, toh theek hai, warna...
Sagar is speechless. Vidya walks out of the room, and he follows.
Afterwards, Aniket and Maaji come up to their room to meet them.
As they walk in, they find no one to be in there.
Maaji:Sagar? Vidya?
Aniket:Maaji, ek minute yaha par aaye.
He shows her the line made with tape.
Aniket(confused):Maaji. Kahi, indono ne, kamre ka baatwara...
Maaji is shocked!
