She enacts her role in a jiffy

Divyanka Tripathi aka Vidya of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann is brimming with confidence. She feels she's mastered her role and can enact it in a jiffy. On screen she portrays a simple, soft-spoken, traditional girl married into a rich family and puts up with a lot of nonsense. But in real life Divyanka is quite unlike Vidya. "I'm traditional but unlike Vidya, on the personal front, I speak up against the wrong. There are times when I really felt that Vidya should revolt against the wrong inflicted on her," says Divyanka.

Initially it was very tough for her to be Vidya. "Every time I'd run to the creative people and ask them as to how the dialogue should be delivered. But after about six months of shooting, things have changed. Now I can deliver any dialogue like Vidya. Give me Sindoora's dialogues and I can deliver them too like Vidya."
