Vidya is an uneducated, small-town woman, but she is not dumb and is aware of her responsibilities.

Sagar's family fixed his marriage to me even though he is mentally unstable and I was unaware of this.

This was due to some wrong medication he had consumed. Though he is better now, he sees me as the cause of all his problems.

So I have to knock sense into him and get him on the right track. The biggest hurdle in the process is my sister-in-law Sindoora (Kamya Punjabi) who creates havoc in the household.

There must be someone on your side?

Only Chinnu (Manish Naggdev) always comes to Vidya's rescue.

He is my younger brother-in-law. I always turn to him for help.

Are there Vidyas in real life?

There are several of them. In fact, the feedback that I have received is that several women tell me it is their story.
