Saagar got up next morning and found Vidya gone. He sighed and then walked towards the bathroom. As he apprached to open the door, it opened from the other side.

Vidya walked out, towel in hand, her wet hair hanging loosely against her face. She was surprised to see him, and smiled but Saagar ignored her and just brushed past her, closing the door of the bathroom.

Vidya frowned sadly, and quietly walked towards his bed, then began to straighten out Saagar's bed. As she is straightening the pillow, Saagar walked in, and Vidya looked up to gaze at him, then quickly averted it. She turned around and covered her cheek with her palm to hide the pink tinge that had fused into her cheeks.

Saagar walked to his closet, then noticed that Vidya was standing by the bed her gaze averted, looking highly uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?"

Vidya hearing Saagar's voice turned to address him, then closed her eyes and looked down. "Ji? Aapko kuch chahiye?"

"Nahi, Tum Aise kyon khadi ho?"

"Ji woh aap ne.." Vidya's cheeks grew warmer and redder, and she turned around again.

"Now what? Kya?"

"Aap...woh towlya."

Saagar looked at his towel still confused by Vidya's reaction. "Yeh mera hi towel hai na?"

"Ji, par apke kapde..."

Saagar looked at Vidya slightly annoyed, finally understanding. "You've got to be kidding me. Tumne kya kabhi..."

"Woh main aapka naashta tayyar karti hoon." Vidya interrupted then rushed out of the room, as Saagar shook his head in disbelief.

"Papa yeh kaha mujhe atkaa ke gaye. Shaadi karni thi to, was she the only available one. I've got to figure a way out of this mess, get my life back to normal."

It's a small update, but I will continue soon.

An awkward silence dominated the breakfast table, as Vidya served breakfast. Everyone at the table had been audience to Saagar's outburst.

Finally Aniket spoke up, "Vidya, kya Saagar ki tabiya theek hai?"

Vidya startled out of her reverie looked at Aniket, "Ji. Kyu?"

"Woh breakfast karne nahi aaya is liye?"

Vidya looked around, and for the first time noticed that Saagar wasn't present at the table. "Uh...Main...zara dekh ke aati hoon."

Vidya was about to walk in to the room, but then remembering this morning stopped to knock. When she only heard a muffled reply she got worried and rushed in.

"Ji Aap Theek.."

Vidya stopped when she saw Saagar sitting on the bed, still pretty much in the same state she'd left him in the morning. The only thing different were the rolls of bandages lying around him.

Saagar was struggling with his bandages on his back He held one end between his fingers and the other end he was pulling it towards his back with his left. He couldn't see his back, making it harder to reach the spot.

As he was finally about to get it, the one between his fingers slipped and the whole thing came undone again. Saagar threw the bandage, then winced as the movement caused him pain.

Vidya just stood there trying to rein in her smile, as she watched Saagar struggle. She wanted to help but didn't know whether he would accept it or not.

She coughed slightly to get his attention, and he turned towards her annoyed. "What?"

Vidya just walked towards Saagar, she bent down and picked up the bandage roll he had thrown away. She gave him one end to hold between his fingers.

"Yeh lo pakdo." Saagar was miffed but he held on to it. Vidya then proceeded to put the salve and bandaged his back.

She was about to help him with his shirt, when he held his hand up to stop her. "Main koi baccha nahin hoon, apne kapde khud pahen sakta hoon." he said in all seriousness that Vidya smiled, reminded of the times he would pretend to be all grown up.

She waited till he was finished then announced that everyone was waiting for him at the breakfast table.

She was about to leave when Saagar stopped, "Vidya.." He held her by her wrist. She stared at his hand in surprise, and Saagar quickly removed his hand from her wrist surprised too. He didn't know why he had stopped her, or held her wrist. He shook his head, "Uh..kuch nahin."

Vidya felt disappointed but didn't say anything then left.

At the breakfast table Saagar questioned Aniket Jiju, about work. He told Aniket, that he would like to join up as soon as possible, like he was about to before his accident. Aniket voiced his concern and asked Saagar if he remebered what had caused his accident.

Sindoora who was sitting beside Aniket, held on to her breath and averted her gaze.

Saagar shook his head, and said he doesn't remember much about the day, and it is pretty much a blur to him as his life after the accident. "Lekin main un sab baaton pe dwell nahin karna chahta hoon. I think jo bhi hua woh mera ateet tha and I'm good now is all that matters."

Sindoora sighed with relief, but wasn't completely happy with Saagar's well-being. She looked at Vidya, then smiled, wondering how fate was so ironical. The one peson who had truly prayed, and was responsible for Saagar's current well-being was the person that Saagar didn't remember.

"Aur Vidya?" Sindoora asked Saagar. "Vidya to tumhaari patni hai, chahe tum dono ki shaadi theek halaato mein nahi hui, She's still your wife. Hain na Vidya?"

Vidya looked at Saagar who looked thoroughly annoyed as he replied, "Lekin main Vidya ko apni patni nahi manta. Is liye hum jitne hi jaldi alag ho jayenge, utna hi accha hoga, hum dono ke liye."

aww lol in all the 3 or 4 fan fics that have started Vidya's really sad in them all please make vidya be happy again soon! great part!.. 😊
