ok im really sorry guys but I had to rush the next part as Im being kicked off so the end is abrupt! Its not how it should have climaxed but I'll continue later...sorry! So its kind of 3/4 of the chapter!

Episode 21

Next Morning

Vidya flutters her eyelids as she allows the beaming sunlight to enter her sensitive eyes. She notices that the other side of the bed is empty, she frowns in confusion. Was Saagar awake before her? She dragged herself up to be seated.

Saagar: Dhyan se

Vidya looks to the left to see Saagar standing there with a breakfast on a tray. Vidya is perplexed. He walks round to her side, seats himself in front of her. Taking his right hand out to put the trail of Vidya's hair gently behind her ear, Vidya becomes even more puzzled.

Saagar: (very quietly) Udhar mat dekhna magar Chinu aur maa ne mujhe behja hai nashte ke saath. Bahar hi khare hai, isliye kuch kehna mat….just smile (he puts on a huge grin on his face while Vidya glances to her left to see the two family members smiling away seeing the "love" between Saagar and Vidya).

Saagar: Aaj mein tumhe apne haathon se khilaooga. (Vidya smiles awkwardly) Aahh karo! Karo karo…. (Vidya feels patronised but nevertheless opens her mouth to eat the piece of parotha) Good!

Chinu and Maaji are satisfied and they walk away…

Saagar: Acha ab ek aur…mere pyare se bete ke liye…

Vidya: (sternly) woh chale gaye

Saagar: (looks at the door to see no-one there) Oh! (looks back at the rather embarrassed Vidya) Toh mein hi khaleta hu. (saying that he puts the morsel in to his own mouth).

Putting the tray on the side cabinet.

Saagar: (nicely) Tum khud khalena. Main neeche betha hu, agar koi cheeze ki zaroorat ho toh bula lena.

Vidya: (rhetorically) Mujhe kya hua hai?

Saagar: (remembers she is not pregnant and smiles) woh sab neeche isi topic par baat karahe he. Isliye dimaak se nikal gaya…

After they have a few second eye lock session, where both could see each others dreams being crashed in front of the other, Saagar got up.

Vidya: (hesitates) aap batane wale the na sab ko?

Saagar stops walking away and turns round.

Saagar: Bata duga. Tum fikar mat karo, yeh natak bahut der ke liye nahin chalega.

Vidya nods shamefully. Saagar moves towards his wardrobe to get his clothes out as his wife looks on.

Vidya: (wonders if she should ask or not) Woh…neeche sab kya baat…karahe the?

Saagar: (turns round) huh?

Vidya: Neeche sab, kya baat karahe the. (glares in to his eyes) bache ke bare mein.

Saagar: (grins) Kuch khaas nahin. The usual

stuff….agar larka hoga toh kya naam rakhege, aur larki hui toh…you know.

Vidya: Aap ne kya kaha?

Saagar: (shrugs lightly) main kya kehta. Maine kabhi iss bare mein socha hi nahin.

Vidya: Kabhi nahi?

Saagar: (lies to himself and Vidya) kabhi nahi (shakes his head)

Chinu: Toh neeche kya baatein ho rahi thi?

Both Saagar and Vidya look towards the door to see Chinu who has entered the room.

Chinu: (teasingly) Dada aap jhooth kyon bol rahe ho?

(Saagar looks at Vidya worriedly and then indicates Chinu to shut up with his facial expressions, but Chinu ignores the nuance). Arre bhabhi…dada ne toh sab soch rakha hai!

Vidya: (pleasantly surprised as looks at the embarrassed Saagar) Acha?

Chinu: (places himself on the edge of the bed) Bilkul! Agar larka hua toh uska naam sameer hoga aur agar larki hui toh Khushi.

Vidya: (smiling) Aur kya kaha?

Saagar: Main abhi aata hu (his face is all red)

Chinu: Arre dada…aap kaha jaa rahe hai (gets up) Jaana toh humein hai. (takes Saagar by the hand and puts him in front of Vidya again) Aap sab baat kijiye.

Chinu leaves a bashful Saagar and a grinning yet proud Vidya.

Vidya: Toh aapne kuch nahin socha?

Saagar: (can't keep a straight face) woh chinu yunhi bolta rehta hai. Maine aisa kuch nahin socha…(hurriedly gets up but Vidya's hand stops his firmly by the wrist)

Vidya: (softly) bataye na

Saagar: (feels more comfortable and sits himself down) Actually, mujhe yeh dono naam hamesha se pasand the. (Vidya looks on) Khas kar ke Khushi….mujhe laga the agar hamara bacha (changes in to a depressed tone) agar humara bacha hota toh pehle larki hoti, phir larka.

Vidya's glowing face turns in to an ocean of guilt.

Saagar: Aur woh bilkul tumhare tara dikhti. (his eyes beginning to tear up) aur uski aankhein, (breaks in to a smile while his eyes glisten) naak, honth sab tumhare jaise hote.

Vidya's eyes swell up too.

Saagar: haa…lekin uske gaal pe ek gadha (dimple) hona chahiye…bilkul meri tara. (both break in to laughter as a few drops seep out). Aur jab who bari hojayegi…toh mein usse puri azaadi duga, I'll be a cool dad (says so proudly).

Vidya: (frowns) Bilkul nahi…

Saagar: Arre

Vidya: Bache ko aise paalte hai kya?

Saagar: Mein toh aise hi paalooga. Woh mujhse toh bahut pyar karegi, lekin tumse darr ke rahegi. (Vidya gasps) Face it…tum ho hi aisi.

Vidya: (squints her eyes) Toh kya aap bhi mujhse darte hai?

Saagar: (without thinking) Haa! Matlab na…ofcourse not. Main kyon daruga?

Vidya has a huge grin on her face.

I apologise for any mistakes & rushed ending...but i had no other choice. Sowwie.
