Part 16, Am I in... Love?

-Aditya's POV-

I walked down the stairs. I was bored after Deepika left so I thought why not watch TV. I walked slowly down as it pained a little bit when my arm moved. I walked to the sofa and plumped myself on it. Ouch! I hit my arm! Why can't this pain just go away? Maybe painkillers will help? Painkillers kills the pain... I stood up and walked to the kitchen after Mum. She had the painkillers.

"Mum, where's the painkillers?" I asked her, walking in and smelling at the yummi food. I got a bit hungry now after seeing all the food. "Go and ask your father. I gave him the packet yesterday and he knows where it is," she said and closed the fridgedoor. Before leaving I smelled at the food once again and smiled.

"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad," I called out as I entered the office. Silent. "Dad, where are you?" I asked looking around in the room. No one was there. I walked out of the office and towards their bedroom. Maybe he was there?

I opened the door and saw Dad standing there and looking at himself in front of the mirror. I giggled. He still hadn't stopped admiring himself in front of the mirror. He thinks he's still young...

"Dad?" I asked and walked behind him. He stopped looking at himself and turned around immediately. "Ehm... eh... what is it?" he asked and touched my head. I giggled. He got embarrassed. "Do you know where the painkillers are?" He walked to the night table and took out the packet. "Here," he throw them to me and I caught them in time. I thanked and walked to my room.

I was just finished taking the tablet and now lying on my bed with the left arm under my head. I started thinking of Deepika, but I didn't know why. First time in my life I've met a girl who is so natural. So smart. So beautiful. I've met many girls, but all of them aren't perfect. Someone are beautiful, but not smart. Someone are rich, but not smart or beautiful. Just too busy of themselves. But Deepika, she was something else. My heart just start beating faster whenever I see her. I've never felt this way either. My palms start sweating and I start blushing fast too. And why do I always think about her? Why don't I think of anyone else? Why always her? Why Deepika?

Am I in... Love?
