Part 1:

The scene starts off with a wide door opening and a waiter walking in. The waiter is holding a glass of juice in a tray. He walks into the room and we see a gentleman with his head down working on his laptop. The waiter clears his throat. The gentleman looks up and smiles. "Put it here," he says while pointing to the table. The waiter does so and steps back. "Will there be anything else sir?" he asks. The gentleman looks up and shakes his head. "Ehh Papu! Ktini bahar bola! I'm a three years younger than you! Call me Amar not sir." Papu smiled. "Sorry Amar. But what am I supposed to do. This was the only job I could fine in Lahore. Now I must work for mundas younger than me." Amar laughs. "Thanks for the drink papu. I don't need anything else." Papu smiles and turns to leave when Amar stops him again. Papu turns around as Amar asks "Did Seema call?" Papu smiled. "Not even one hour without her and you're already crazy. No she didn't but why don't you call for a change instead of waiting for her to." Amar shook his head. "I think that's a better idea. Thanks you can go now." Papu smiled and left. Amar took his phone out and dialed.

A lady dress in a white shalwar kameez was running around holding a underwear. A little girl was running away from her half naked. The lady yells. "Oye Saria! Do you want papa to find out that you won't get ready?!" The little girl, Saria, quickly stops and looks at the lady. "No mama! Please don't tell papa! He won't bring me candy then!." The lady smiles. "Then come here and wear this." She waves the underwear in front of her face. Saria runs over and finally her mother dresses her. When she's done she says "Now you can go and play!" Saira jumps and down. Suddenly the phone rings and Saira's face lightens up. "Papa!" She runs over to the phone and picks it up. "Papa! Papa!" Amar on the other phone smiles. "How's my little angel?" Saira smiles. "Perfect! I just got dressed." Amar says, "That's great and where is your mama?" Saira looks at her mother. "She's watching me eager to talk to you." The lady's smile fades as that is not truth. Saira hands her the phone and runs away. The lady shaking holds the phone to her ear. "Hello," She says in pain. "Hey Seema my love" Amar says with such excitement while Seema closes her eyes and listens. "Hey Amar. How are you?" "Missing you desperately." Amar smiles huge. "But you just left for work and already you miss me?" she says. Amar laughs, "Aik munda kare bi kya jab itni soni biwi ghar par ho." Seema shakes her head.

Amar is in his car driving home while he passes by a poor person selling flowers. He stops his car and ushers the man to walk over. The man walks over. Amar, "Do you have kajras?" The man nods and shows it to them. Amar smiles, "Give me all of them." The man's face lightens up. "But sir they are worth 1000 ruppees." Amar shakes his head. "So what 1000 rupeees are worth it if it means feeding you and making my wife happy." The man smiles and hands Amar all the kajras while Amar hands him the money. "Thank you sir," the man says. Amar smiles, "Anytime. And make sure you have them tomorrow. I'll be sure to drop by." Amar starts the car again and drives away.

Seema is in the kitchen making tea deep in thought. Soon enough she smells kajras and looks behind herself to see Amar holding them out. She smiles and puts her hands out as Amar puts them out but then Seema sees there are a bit too much. "Why'd you buy so many?" she asks. Amar smiles. "For Saira. You know how much she loves them." Just as he says that Saira runs up to the them and starts jumping up and down. Amar hands the kajras to Seema and picks Saira up in his arms. "How's my little angel?" Saira smiles. "I'm great papa! Did you know I'm turning four in three days?!" Amar pinches her cheeks. "Of course I knew! How could papa forget? And look I brought you kajras." Seema smiles and puts them on Saria's wrists. Amar smiles and takes Saira out as Seema goes back to making tea.

Amar is carrying Saira to her room as she has fallen asleep. Saira is asleep in Amar's arms. Seema is following them. Amar enters Saira's pink and purple room. He goes over to her Barbie bed and lays her down. He tucks her in and pulls the blanket over her. He kneels down and kisses her forehead and then leaves. He enters his room to find Seema deep in thought. Amar worried walks over to her. "What's the matter?" He holds her hand. Seema smiles and looks at Amar. "Nothing. Just thinking how quickly Saira grew up." Amar smiled. "Yea. It was just yesterday we fell in love and you found out you were pregnant. And now look. Humare pyar ki nishani char sal bari hogai hai." Seema smiles as tears well up in her eyes. Amar sees her tears and wipes them pulling her in to hug him.. "I've already started looking for pre-schools," he says.
