Stars for u! my dear sis!😊Part 3:
Preparations for Saira's birthday party were in full swing. Seema was now feeling a bit better and also helped out. However the birthday girl was too busy annoying her papa on the details about her new pre-school. As of right now they were in Amar's room while he was working on some papers. Saira was in his lap asking constant questions about her pre-school. "Papa how big is the school?" Amar who was looking through some papers just replied, "Not big." Saira smiled and continued, "Are the teachers there nice?" Amar once again without paying attention replied, "Yes they are nice." Saira with her cuteness asked another question which you should know by now will tick Amar off. "Papa are there boys and girls there or just girls." Amar harshly answered, "I don't know beta!" Saira jumped and stood out of his lap. Amar realized he yelled at her. When he looked she was in tears and her face had turned red. He quickly got off the bed and leveled down to her. "I'm sorry beta woh," Before he could continue she ran away. Amar slapped his hand on his forehead.
Crying Saira ran up to her mother. Seema was busy putting up balloons. "Mama!" Seema stopped and looked at Saira. "Kya huwa beta?" Saira sniffed. "Papa yelled at me!" Seema laughed and bent down in front of her. "Well did you bother papa?" Saira made a cute sad face. "No I was just asking him questions about my new pre-school. " "And what was he doing at that time?" Seema asked. It then hit Saira. "He was working." Seema smiled. "So now do you understand why he yelled?" Saira nodded as Amar walked down. "Saira beta I'm sorry I yelled at you beta." Saira smiled and ran up to him. He picked her up in his arms. "It's ok papa. It was my fault." Amar smiled and pinched her nose. "Is there anything papa can do to make it up to his angel?" Saira and her spoiled mind began thinking. She then smiled as an idea struck her. "Promise me that on the first day of pre-school you'll come with me all the way into my classroom." Amar laughed. "That's it?" Saira nodded. Seema was impressed. "Wow this is the first time she didn't beg for a toy." Amar nodded. "Looks like our Saira is growing up."
It was night time and Saira's party was being held. All her playground friends were gathered and she was enjoying her time. Amar and Seema were busy entertaining the children's parents. Amar was speaking to one child's father and they were discussing pre-school. The child's father was a single parent. "So I here you admitted Saira in the Lahore Pre-School for girls?" Amar nodded. "Yea I did. I heard there are a few nice teachers there and they interact well with the students." The man smiled. "Of course especially Ms. Vidya." Amar raised his eyebrows as the man had a flirtish tone. "What do you mean by that?" The man smiled and stepped forward whispering. "Well there is this one teacher in that school who goes by the name of Vidya. She's I think in her early or mid twenties. But anyways in simple terms she's a babe." Amar stepped back with wide eyes. "How could you say that? You have your own daughter." The man smiled. "Well I tried for her to become my daughter's mother but the principal told me to stay away." Amar suddenly became interested. "Why?" The man sighed. "She's very poor and takes care of her ill mother. That is why she has so much passion in her work because other than her mother that is her only reason to live." Amar was touched after hearing such a story. The man smiled and patted Amar's back. "If I were you and your Saira got Vidya as a teacher then there is nothing to worry about. Vidya will take care of her as if she was her mother and not her teacher." Amar smiled and nodded.
A few days later Amar was in his car with Saira in the passenger seat all buckled up. Amar was taking Saira to her first day of pre-school. Saira was very happy and Amar could see this. "So I see my angel is very excited for her first day of pre-school." Saira jumped in her seat and smiled. "Of course papa! But I really hope I get Ms.Vidya! All my friends say she is a great teacher." Amar smiled. "So I've heard." He quickly stepped on the brakes and turned his car into the school parking lot. After finding a proper spot he got out of the car and took Saira out. He held Saira's little school bag and hand walking towards the school. As they entered the building Amar was to busy talking to Saira he did not notice someone walking in front of him and he bumped into her. Amar quickly let go of Saira's hand and school bag holding onto the girl by her waist. The girl grabbed onto Amar's shoulders for support. Amar quickly stood her up and apologized. He then looked at her. She was wearing a simple full sleeve shalwar kameez with her duppatta wrapped around her shoulders and her hair in a high pony tail. She had one strand of hair lightly hanging against her face. She smiled at Amar. "No sir! It was entirely my fault! Please forgive me! It's the first day so I'm all over the place." Amar smiled. "No it's ok. But could you help me?" The girl smiled. "Yes." Amar smiled and took out a piece of paper and handed it to her. "That's my daughter's class room information. Could you tell me where she is supposed to be?" The girl looked at the paper and then looked up smiling. "Sir your daughter is in my class. I'm Ms.Vidya." She extended her hand. Amar smiled remembering that things he heard about her and shook her hand. "I've heard a lot about you" he said not letting go of her hand. Vidya raised her eyebrows. "Really? Well I hope they were all pleasant comments." She laughed. Amar laughed and replied, "Well of course." Vidya smiled and they kept smiling at each other while Saira was watching. She tugged on Amar's arm. "Papa! I'm getting late for class." Amar quickly let go of her hand and looked at Saira. "Sorry beta." Vidya smiled and extened her hand to Saira. "Come Saira. You're with me now." Saira smiled but didn't take her hand. Vidya pulled her hand back confused. Saira looked up at Amar who was also confused. "Remember your promise papa?" Amar laughed. Vidya was still confused. Amar took Saira's hand and looked up at Vidya. "I promised her I would take her all the way into the class." Vidya smiled. They then proceeded towards the classroom as Saira walked between Amar and Vidya. Once Amar reached the class Vidya took Saira over. Amar spoke to Vidya, "She's normally well behaved but if she does get stubborn don't hesitate to call me." Vidya nodded as she took Saira inside and Amar watched.
