Ekta kapoor does not believe in social networking sites. She says: internet based audience is immaterial to me. A show may have a very high you tube viewership. But the no. Of internet hits does not contribute to the trps of a show. Ultimately it all boils down to how many people tune in. Not what somebody in a remote corner of the world comments on you tube. I have noticed that shows very popular on public forums have zero trps and are go off air. Recent example is DMG. Agreed internet audience watches each scene carefully and analyses it to the utmost but in the end its immaterial what they think. Also many shows like balika vadhu & 12/24 karol bagh are showing that age difference marriages do not work in the long run. Whats ekta's take on this considering her long running show on imagine bandini is based on such a relationship? Laughs ekta i dont see why such marriages cant succeed. If two people love each other " na umar ki seema ho janam ka ho bandhan , jab pyar kare koi to dekhe keval man" you can say my show is based on this ghazal. Hmm so what does the future hold for ekta...lots of success on tv and high trps for all my shows fingers crossed..

Thanx for sharing this info Ramona. Well if she hates all these public forums then does that mean she won't read and adhere to the comments on FB about how much everyone hates the new track.😕

Also EK says that age difference marriage's can work and she's following this ghazal, then why can't she show this marriage and relationship working. Or at least show some differences occurring to show how Sanraj overcome these problems but no, instead she skipped this whole part of Sanraj relationship and has made them old with grandkids fighting over property. There seems to be no Sanraj scenes at all and this story is about them but as I said she skipped this whole part with the leap.

those commenting on fb are not at all entirely internet based lots of them watch live. But on public forums like this one whats being said perhaps doesnt matter to her. As for leaps i dont think there'sany successful show of hers that didnt have one...

Well KTH didn't have any leaps until the last episode where Sujal Kashish were telling the kids their love story. KTH was a success until Rajeev left, but it was a successful serial. I think this was the only show EK had with no leaps.

I have read that many times before. As for leaps in ekta shows they are the rule rather than the exception.

So looks like she won't give a crap about what I think. Some leaps are OK, in KZK the PRB scenes were much better than they were pre-leap since as 20yrs went by they were shown to be more in love with each other as years went by. I was hoping that since there is a leap in Bandini, for the Sanraj scenes to be like the PRB scenes in KZK but not once have we got a proper Sanraj scene so far. They could have shown that over these 16yrs the love between them has increased and they can't live without each other instead here we are seeing a flirty DM and an old amma Santu.

fazy do not be disheartened. Your POV is as valid as anyone else's. I remember that in kzk after the first 25 yr leap they didnt show prb romance for four months and only concentrated on establishing the newcomers...then on persistent audience demand they started showing it. Prerna also looked like an amma for a while replete with glasses. So its probably history repeating itself in bandini.

Ramona, I watched KZK after the leap and I seem to remember quite a few PRB scenes coz after the leap a few days later it was PRB's anniversary with sweet moments of RB hugging and then kissing Prerna on the cheek, then again when the kids disappeared. Then there was the Valentines day dinner they had together, even sharing a drink with 2 straws. They also went on holiday to Goa or somewhere when Prerna arranged a romantic night with RB but Anurag came along but still Bajaj came and hugged her and kissed her when Anu was there(RB didn't know he was there in his defence). After Anurag came along all of their problems started and there were less scenes but there were times when they had disagreements and still longing for each other, those were great scenes as well.

There were two twenty five year leap in kzk after one bajaj vanish for four months I think that one was the one with no PRB scene. The other twenty five year one was different. Also after leap both PRB wear glasses and looked terrible for a while till they changed it
