Wow Hema has posted a very thought provoking comment about birwa behavior that has got me thinking to add my two cent whatever that's worth. 😆

I know as a mother santo wanted to protect her daughter but by doing that she also destroyed birwa. The crime birwa committed was heinous even if it was to safe her father. Murder is not a crime one can just forget and walk away from because someone said so let alone a child. Birwa was in a state of shock after she stabbed arjun, I think santo even had to slap birwa to bring her back to reality. Once santo when to jail she should've confided in somebody like shanky if she didn't want to tell her husband. Birwa needed emotinal help to deal with what happen since there was none birwa when two steps ahead of her father by drowning herself in work and killing herself from all emotional tide. Birwa and Santo were the light in that house with them gone all they had was darkness. Everywhere birwa probably when in that house she saw the venom spoken and hatred in their eyes for her mother. The girl didn't have no choice of survivor but to kill herself inside if she wanted to fulfill the promise she made to her mother. Birwa is too far gone to even care or feel that's why she so mean to the person who she's care about most in the world her mother. If we can go by today episode birwa is on a path to some form of emotional meltdown.

With all this below what chance did birwa have of being normal.

Baa & Babaji....Too old to be of any help.
DM..Lock himself in the room and cut tides with everybody.
Hiten..I had to take on father responsibility while still finding his own way.
Moti..The biggest pig in the family whose not fit to be called mother, forfeited her own marriage to sit in her brother house to make sure he doesn't have a wife so they can grow old together like old maids
Khemi...Grieving screeching widow
Toral....I had to step up to be a mother figure.
Kaddu....Divorcing her husband cause she suspecting him of cheating with santo in prison.

Very well said pyar-ishq!
This is exactly the reason i vehemently have in the past questioned Santu about hiding the truth from everyone. She thus (even if inadvertently) turned Birwa into a path of self destruction where the latter got locked in with absolutely no charm, no emotions, no respect and in short became a monster in man's clothing.
I sometimes she has even forgotten (wilful amnesia) that she murdered Arjan and that part of her life is completely blank. I have seen it happen in cases of terrible emotional trauma and during manic depressive episodes. It is sad that this child had to bear such a burden alone.

Uma, cant believe you just bashed DM! Way to go!
This time i hope Santu doesn't retract her spine when he turns into "Mein Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi, Dharampur ka malik. Chalo ab batao mujhe dus saal pehle ki baat".😆
I want Santu to tell him;
" malik, jo beet gayi, woh baat gayi!
Mein Santu Mahiyavanshi, Dharampur ki maalkin bataney se inkaar karti hoon;
Koi zabardasti hai kya?"

What you have mentioned requires abstract thinking which does not develop until the age of 19-20. Therefore the 15 year old Birwa would not have processed it as an act of kindness but as something she was forced to do against her wishes. When she visited Santu in jail she clearly told Santu that she wanted to confess and the truth to come out. Birwa had already lost her mother at a very young age. When Santu gave her the 'over my dead body' kasam the young Birwa must have been scared of the thought of losing her mother a second time around.
I am not condoning Birwa's attitude but at the same time I am acknowledging the fact that Santu is not totally blameless either in creating this monster. Also, DM needed to know the truth about his daughter. This was not a minor matter and she took that right away from him as a parent.

Very correct Hema!
DM had every right as Birwa's father, head of family and Santu's husband to know the truth ten years ago. I have said it before and i will say it again. Santu's act of "misguided kindness" has turned Birwa into the monster that she is now.
Please note that i even for a second do not suspect Santu's intentions which i am sure were purely to save and nurture her child. Unfortunately the circumstances in the house made things worse and Birwa is the end result.

Thank you for the update.What do you guys think?Will Ekta bring our Birangi torture to an end so easily?That Sarang and Monghi will be taking pheras by next week and Birwa will be throwing flower petals on them? I don't think so. Birwa is like gunpowder right now and Moti is, as Nupur calls her, 'Maachis ki teeli'. She'll badmouth Monghi(I don't mind that) and wind up Birwa's already twisted mind.I don't know how or if DM will know about Arjan's real killer in this Sarangi track.If he does, then the story will end. That doesn't seem likely in the near future.
