haha its true without DM the show wouldn't work, thats why I meant right at the end, closing credits shashank and santu marriage possible, u kno how prerna and basu get together in the end in Kasauti zindagi kay. to be honest alot of people have been fairly respectable to me here, lol, I haven't read the whole thread yet, just off work. might think differently once I've read it if possible!! (so long).
so thanku for puuting up with my diff views.
Have had very negative reactions from some other forums for positng a different view.
And someone said my ideas were romantic, guess they right esp concerning Hitmi, but I really hate Hiral, because i can't tolerate second love. don't believe in it! :(
Also to make it clear - i am fully aware this show is about Sanraj. thats why I started watching it. Love the pair, and how he grew to respect her etc. What I loved about this relationship was a growing respect that Dm had for a lower cast/poor girl- that development. Rather than accepting her as a wife angle.
I liked him realising her intelligence in spite of being young and scared, but having such courage and endurance. I liked him realising he was unjust towards her because he married her then treated her as a servant. That's why i loved the part when he said she should marry someone her own age, showing how considerate he was.
What I can't be happy with is that she is /was 18, him over 40 atleast as has 20+ kids.
A stepmother should never be younger than the children - its not right.
Sorry to use the word paedophilia, sorry to upset you guys, but I was trying to give you a sense of the reason why i can't accept a sexual relationship. i see SAN/RAJ as mentor/mentee rather than lovers.
Anybody can be happy with anybody they want as long as both parties want to be happy.
If you're not happy with sanraj that is your opinion but for most of us here we are really and i mean really happy if they're happy.
It is society that puts such thoughts into our heads about age barrier but at the end of the day it's people's own perogative.
In this case it was the characters perogative to be with each other and yes sure it didn't begin in a manner that we wld want but the whole concept of the story is to show how different people from different factes of life come together.
Their age was a matter to everyone but a real marriage or relationship goes beyond age my dear and this is what the show is all about.
The fact that santu's character was mature enough for DM's character is what made them click despite him being much older he was somewhat lost and delusional.
She helped set him on the right path while he helped her grow up n be herself.
You are only looking at this from the age point of view which is basically the surface, there are many layers to the show and the characters of Sanraj.
We tend to see what we want to see but for us to really see what's beyond the layers, we need to understand.
Now coming to this mommy business.
I don't agree with you here clearly your maternal instincts have not kicked in, hence you are talking crap. If you feel the love and nuturing for someone the age is not a barrier. I have a niece who is 17 years old and our age gap is little between us but I am her maasi and to me she is just like my child. Who is to say whether someone can or can't be a mom? and who is to say that just because the children are older to Santu in this case she is not their mother? Have you been watching the show at all. The children were hopeless and spoilt and it she who guided them back to the right path.
Being a mother doesn't mean a woman has to give birth to a child. Mother Teresa never gave birth at all but she was everybody's mom including the young and old. For someone to be a mom which comes naturally btw , they must first feel it (a surge of emotions that springs from the heart) and again the age is a non issue! In santu's case she is most of the time a super mom.😛
And yes the word paedophilia is a bad word in the context of sanraj. Don't you watch the news or read or seen any crime tv series? Do you what who and how paedophilias are like? They are monsters who stalk and prey their victims, rape them then kill them in most cases.
It is always easy to point at something and say this is what it is but allegations made must be well thought out before they are presented.
😆 ok rants over 😛
