IMP - MEMBERS PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Hello Everyone:

Recently I have been noticing that members have been bending the rules while making posts and comments. With a new track starting this week, I would like to take the opportunity to go over some basic guidelines while making posts.

Everybody is allowed to express their thoughts and opinions but all members should make sure that lines are not being crossed. Members from different sections of IF visit our forum and it is very important that our forum create and maintain a good impression.

• Posting in all Capital Letters is not permitted on I-F. It is considered as "shouting" on the internet and can be viewed as offensive. In order to stress a point one word or two words can be written in CAPITALS or Bold. Please DO NOT write the whole post in Capitals or Bold or use large size font.

• The use of swear words is not permitted in any posts in ANY section of I-F. Some of you may already be aware of this, but not fully aware of what is acceptable and what is not. Sh**, *hit, *h*t or any case where only a few letters of a curse word are crossed out is not accepted. The word has to be fully starred (****) out (so one cannot tell what it stands for) or you can use the 🤬 emoticon. You can star a word by pressing the shift and 8 key together. The word crap is allowed.

• Please discuss the points related to the topic of the thread only. Update threads should discuss events that have happened in the episodes. Chatting in threads derails the threads and the continuity of the discussion is lost. For those who want to chat, there is a Chit Chatter's thread posted where members can chat.

• It is very important to realize the difference between criticizing a character (for example: Khemi) and insulting an actor (Leena Jhumani). Making derogatory comments about the physical attributes or personal lives and situations of any actor is not permitted. We have actors who are members of the forum, who may be visiting the forum and reading what is posted.

Posts not following these guidelines will be edited/deleted by the Dev Team.

Bandini Forum - Starting New Topics:

• All members are requested to please check the first 2-3 pages to see if there is a thread on the same subject before starting a new thread. If there is one then please join/continue the discussion in that topic. Posting multiple threads on the same topic clutters up the forum and is also a waste of space on the forum Even if the topic is not exactly what you were going to post but is based on the same scenario or borderline you can post your comments in that topic. Any such similar / same subject threads that are started will be closed.
  

• It has been observed that members are opening new threads to post an opinion or a comment on that day's episode or the track. Such threads are also a waste of space and clutter up the forum. These can be posted in the Bandini Central - Serial Discussion & Comments Thread. In addition,there is a daily update thread and also a mini/live update thread where discussions take place for the episode aired on that day.
  

• Please do not waste space on the network by creating polls on topics and issues that are already being discussed in the regular on-going threads. Members have already posted their thoughts in the episode thread or daily discussion thread.
  

Writing Fan-Fiction:

• There is a special Fan Fiction section at I-F. The Fan Fic Section Development Team has posted the rules and regulations that are to be followed while writing fiction. Please check the thread made by one of the GM's at I-F in regards to the content of Fan Fiction writing and make sure that the rules are followed when writing fiction.

• To keep the Bandini forum pages free of clutter and give space to discussion threads on the front page, please limit fiction threads to one per member - whether it is a story consisting of chapters/parts, scenes or songs. Please send me a PM to lock your previous work before you post a new fiction thread. Failure to do so will result in your new fiction thread being moved to the Fan Fic Section of I-F. However, a member can open additional fiction threads in the Fan Fic section of I-F.

Please note that India Forums is a family forum where members range in age from 13 to 70+ and all discussions should remain within the lines of basic decency and modesty and appropriate for all age groups to read.
