As I sit here in utter and sheer horror after watching todays episode I only think ONE thing! I have yet to see a man more stupid and more horrible than DM. I think santu is better off a Vidhwa then to be a wife of a man like that and get abused like that! I don't know how many days will we have to go thru the pain to watching another woman cry so much.

What I noticed while watching this episode is that when Santu greeted DM he completely ignored her and ask his witch I mean sister to make his tea. If that guy isn't the biggest baby I don't know who is, the girl asked for a divorce so his dumb son and her sister could get married and he wants to punish her for being a caring sister and stepmother, man whats a girl have to do to get a little respect and common decency shown to her. I hope that what ever he decided to do about his bratty daughter was not to mean since he keeps harping that he believes in justice and so forth but what I think he believes in is his way or the highway. Hopefully the written update will be done some time soon so I know exactly what happened in todays show. The only bright spot in this episode was that DM actually listened to Santu explain what happened instead of going off what Moti ben said (I hope he listened it looked like he was listening but its hard to tell with him)

I thought DM handled the Birwa issue pretty well...after the initial anger which any parent would feel after hearing that his 14-year old daughter wants to get married, he handled it pretty well...he didn't go off on her or hit her, instead he listened to her quietly and told her calmly that she will get her punishment like her siblings...and I think that is the right thing to do so that she does not repeat her mistakes and realizes that there are consequences to her actions. I am sure we have only heard the first part of the punishment that he had taken her out of the school...am sure there is more to it, maybe he will enroll her in another school which would be the right thing to do so that she is away from Akshat and distractions and can concentrate on her studies. Anyways, seems like Birwa has learnt her lesson and uske sar se pyaar ka bhoot utar gaya. Hiten once again spoke without knowing the whole truth...blamed DM for not talking to Birwa when he did and saying she shouldn't be punished...all kids are punished for their mistakes by their parents...kids are grounded all the time for staying out late and missing classes. Maulik I think reacted better than Hiten...at least he realized that whatever DM did will be for the betterment of Birwa.

I also liked that after initial anger at Santo on Moti's incitement, DM actually asked her to come to his room so that she could explain herself in privacy and not with the entire family watching and listening what is going on between husband and wife and with Moti constantly interrupting her and shutting her up and did not completely ignore the fact that she was trying to explain herself...he probably realized that Santo had something to say to him and gave her a chance to explain herself and he calmly and quietly listened to her explanation and believed her and did not blame her after hearing her out. And then he acted on her advice and talked to Birwa...I think it shows his respect for Santo's opinions.

I felt this episode was a good one after a long, long time.

DM knows only one thing
giving punishment
waiting for a day when he will get punishment or is he too perfectionist that he will never make a mistake
