today's SanRaj scene was crap!

Whatever happened to Ba's lecture to Santo about keeping her 'Swabhiman'. Santo is getting too desperate for attention. 😒

July 6^th (DM is back and it's gujju galore!!)

DM: (Moti tries to talk to him) mein bilkool nahin thaka. Bol shu che (tell me what's up)?...Tu kevi vaat kare che Motiben (what are u saying motiben)? Khemi ane Shambhu ka lagan? Haan Madho kaka ne bola tha ki var (groom) acha hai pun chokra Sambhu hai yeh toh nahin bola tha.

July 7^th

Santo pleads to talk to him before he takes decision

DM: Chal mara saathe (come with me)...(goes upstairs)...shu vaat karvi hati (what did u want to talk about)?

Santo explains no matter who khemi marries....

DM comes down...

Santo: Malik Chai

Santo: Malik apko meri...matlab ki hamari yaad ati thi?

Bindi khoti (wrong) jagah pe kyun lagaya hai. Dekhne ka ne darpan mein. Aav ahiya (come here). (fixes it) ja, seedhi thay gai (it's in place now, go). Cha lai ne aav ja (go get tea). Havey ubha ubha maru modhu shu jovey che (now what are you waiting for). Jaa, cha layegi ki nahi?...sav daffor (totally comical).

Thanks you Mombs for the translation. There was a lot of gujju today. You got it down perfectly with the gujju pronounciation of the English words - Santu says Antop and DM says Antwerep - and the gift of impourtted bindis.

I found the whole scene and their conversation hilarious the talked about Inglis tea with lemon, cows and buffaloes, impourted bindi to Karsankaka's dukaan.🤣

I would say it is a combination of the dialogue writers and RR adding his own touch to it - the way he delivered the dialogues and executed the scene was 👍🏼
