whoa, whoa, whoaa.. my coffee is ready and you guys are three more pages ahead..!! lolz...
well, i want it to be both an emotional journey as well.. maybe i wont' mind the physical journey too much... but there has to be at least some established connection before that happens..
rasika, very well said.. concur with your thoughts there.. and i agree, Maulik is not going to learn by punishments and harsh beatings.. he needs some love and understanding but not the kind of love moti showers on him.. now i kinda feel sorry for him... lolz..
nisha, welcome to the forum, i am sanam (easy to remember, as it's part of my screen name, lolz)...
p.s. i have edited my post, hema... 😳😳😳

Even I have a strong dislike for the signals that Hiten was sending Khemi .. and look at the episode carefully, he was about to make one more advance towards Khemi when Santo came running that Mongi had fallen in the well ! eeeks ..

Actually now I think of it this way, Hiten very well aware of the relationship between Santo and DM .. VERY well knowing that Khemi is in relation with him .. so he HAS to be wise and mature and tell himself AND Khemi that there is no future for their relationship .. It's like someone liking their cousin very well knowing that the relationship he/she wishes is out of social bounds!

Perfectly Said sukhi.. Unless one of them realises what they are doing is socially and to an extent morally wrong, they wont stop.. I would hate to be in Santo's shoes if and when DM gets to know about this..

Suks, Rasika, Mru,

I think the boy (read Hiten) has lost his senses when it comes to Khemi.

God, he could treat her like a sister...someone he cares for but love...Gawd...he better come to his senses quick.

And all said and done Mru,

There is nothing IMMORAL about a aged man marrying a young woman ACCORDING to the scriptures, not according to me .. so DM and Santo marrying is bit such a big deal in rural areas where such a marriage is common but having Dharampur accept Hiten-Khemi as a couple would be stretching it too far!

@Mru...So sorry for the goof up..I am having a slow day...Thank god its Friday!

Actually Motiben should keep up her tempo and pitch in abt Maulik's punishment and convince DM to be a little more humane towards him...that would help everyone.

I still find it weird that Hiten had so many issues with his father and one incident wiped out all his bitterness..so Hiten may again stand against DM regarding Maulik..

Sanam ,

Regarding your views and Rasika's on the fact that Maulik needs some love .. the thing is -- he has been spoilt rotten ... getting far more love than he deserves .. leading to an inflated sense of self and incorrigible go and superiority complex.. now how in the world can love solve these?

@ Nisha:

(For your help,I'm Sukhi)

Well Hiten made it clear when he put the garland on DM ... that he has never respected DM as a dad and his gesture that day was simply a way to express respect and gratitude for the malik .. not his father ..

Things stand the way they are between DM and Hiten!

I dont have a problem with age issues as well sukhi, moral or otherwise.. It has happened before, it is happening now, and will continue to happen for a long time.. After all age is just a number.. But Hiten-Khemi doesn't sit well with me.. Just because, whether Hiten accepts it or not, santo is his mother, khemi her sister...

I disagree Suks. What Moti gives him is not love...it's excuses and protection for no good reason. It's spoiling him rotten even more....knowing he can run to tarufoi for help.

He does need real love. Recall how happy he was during cricket. Even then DM did not reach out to him. He does need real love...reaching out. but itna bigda hai....even I feel ike giving him a few punches.

Rasika, Hiten is definitely going to take care of Maulik!

When that scene played out (Hiten learning of Maulik being the culprit), first thing that came to mind was how Hiten defended Maulik for Gau hatya.

Now I think he will realize how Maulik is just trouble. He will not spare him Especially since both DM and Santo now have a place in Hiten's heart and Mongi means a lot to him.

Whoa !

I had totally forgotten about that Mombs .. great point you seem to have remembered
that Hiten is in the state that he is - good or bad comes secondarily, because of Maulik..
Come to think of it, Maulik must have been drunk that night as well .. so maybe Hiten IS
aware of the fact that Maulik has resorted to alcohol and his moralty has been overpowered
by blind love?!
