A cultural question for you Mombs. Women are always shown wearing slippers at home, and today at the dance? Is that usual? Most Tamil women will not wear footwear inside the house.

Hmmm.....I don't know if it's a cultural thing. Again, I am the wrong person to comment as I have mostly been abroad and cultures abroad always get mish-mashed!! 😆

Typically, we do not wear slippers in the house either....go bare feet. But that's also because we have carpets! Now with wood and tile floors, slippers are generally worn especially in winter coz feet get cold.

Hi friends, I am going out of the country on vacation from May 19 to June 5. So I will not be posting much, but I do plan to log in when I can and leave message for all of you. You all are like family to me now, and I adore this forum so much. Will be missing all of you, RR and Aasiya, and the rest of the Mahiyavanshi gang, and yes, even Motiben and her humor! I will def read updates, since I won't be watching Bandini. I will miss posting with all of you about SanRaj too! I love you all! Have lots fun and I will join all of you as soon as I come back!

Absolutely... and more importantly, she has done it without waiting for or expecting to be showered with love by her husband, and the father to these children!

One of my favorite scenes in Bandini is the episode where Santo discovers DM has 5 kids. She sees the framed photos and just sits on the floor, completely overwhelmed! And without an iota of support from any of the kids, except Birwa, Santo has done so much in such a short time.

I think she should stop that now, esp with Maulik and Kaddu. She should inform Bapuji or Hiten about Kaddu's affair, and inform DM it was Maulik who pushed Moongi.

Have a fun and relaxing vacation, Mallika. You can do Bandini marathon when you come back and watch them all together after you get back. That way you will soon catch up with the rest of us.

Friends,

Re Hiten and Khemi, does anyone think we could see a new twist, in that Hiten turns out NOT to be DM's son?! We all assume Maulik is not DM's son but the Bandini writing and directing team has always surprised us!

Can't think of any other way Kitten pair can work!
