Imaginary future conversation between DM, Kohinoor and Chokri :

DM (Looking longingly at his first wife's portrait) Khem Cho, Kohinoor?

No reply forthcoming...DM looks sad & dejected.

DM : I have been talking to you for the last 10 years and you never reply back to me.

Still no reaction from Kohinoor...

DM turns his attention to an object standing in a dark corner

DM : Aye Chokri, are you still there?

Santu : (Deliriously happy at being able to utter the first words after marriage) Ji Malik...

DM : (Furious) How dare you reply back to me?

Santu : (Confused and scared out of her wits) But Malik....

DM : (Now boiling with anger) Again you answer back? Haven't you learnt anything from my Kohinoor till date?

Santu chastisized and ashamed, slips back to the corner and becomes mute again, while Malik goes back to lamenting his sorrows with Kohinoor!

Waise I am really wondering how he is going to explain this shaadi of his to Subhadra's portrait? Will he think he cheated on the portrait?

As to the question you put earlier about women covering their head after marraige - not everyone does in today's times. But I believe it is still a tradition in rural communities. So I think most probably we will be seeing Santo covering her head. Also Subhadra has her head covered in the portrait so that should be one more clue that Santo will be expected to follow suit.

DM's explanation to Subhadra's portarit on his marriage to Santu

DM : (Ashamed and miserable) Kohinoor, I have a confession to make...I got married again...

No response from the portrait as usual.

DM : (Taking her silence as a good omen) I know, I promised to stay a widower for the rest of my life...but Guruji says that my Mangal is in big trouble or something...and that I have to take help from the neigbouring planet, Jupiter...which btw, is in this Chokri's control.

Again seeing no reaction from the portrait, DM continues, feeling a bit less guilty now.

DM : Its not like she is going to take your place or anything...I mean, this wall is only meant for you...no one else but you will hang here.

Silence for sometime, which DM takes as an approval.

DM : Thank you for understanding, Subhadra. Yeh sach che, zircon stones kitni bhi aaye jaaye...only you will be my Kohinoor...plus, the grandfather clock has to be disposed now and the Chokri will fit that corner of the house perfectly...You can also keep an eye on her from the wall....

OMG Soapie that is hilarious. Loved all the 3 - Jupiter being in chokris control 😆, wall meant for Kohinoor only and the watching over the chokri in the corner.

Hai, I want to see Santu preparing some nice Gujju food for DM which is his favourite...and he eats it thinking that the cook has made it, but later is furious on knowing that its actually made by Ms. Jupiter...and when everyone is alseep, he comes down and sneaks some of it from the Refrigerator!
