I know I can't believe it's the same Ek who put out KS lol!!!
but can believe it's the same EK that created Rishabh Bajaj- prerna bajaj and also Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi.
you are right, everyone is so fabulous, I just know Virat Sanghvi and RR from this show, everyone else is new, and they are doing just fabulous. must applaud Roshan for the fabulous casting.
And it has already become A rating serial in my eyes...I mean it is a complete package. the only problem is that it is airing on fairly new channel...it is not a big channel like Star Plus or Zee tV which have 60% combined of the total market shares...whereas NDTV just has 7%. so yea, i hope NDTV rocks with this show.

So true Sam, EK did create Rishabh Bajaj. And now she has created another icon - DM!

A hit show like this should definitely help the channel to come up the ranks. More shows will sign up seeing the success of this. Keeping fingers crossed for NDTV.

The little sister with two braids tied up with a colorful ribbon is so typical. It's all so authentic and natural.

Apart from the acting and direction they have payed attention to all the details like in todays's episode DM arrives home and drinks water - as per his status it is a silver glass. When he goes out an aide puts a shawl around him and holds up an umbrella for him.

I would like to take this opportunity to complement wardrobe department in also doing a wonderful job. All the clothes and accessories are very authentic to each character. DM's wardrobe is without doubt perfect to the T. Nanaji wears the traditional kediyu at home but his uniform at work. Pinakin being DM's right hand person is shown wearing a jacket over his dhoti-kurta with a pen ready in his pocket.

Coming to the 3 sisters - Khemi and Santo wearing bright and simple cotton clothes, their necklaces are on black string and Khemi also has the traditional 3 black dots on her chin. The little sister has her hair in 2 braids and double up with bright ribbons. The diamond merchants are shown wearing all white with thick gold chains at their necks, rings on all the fingers and the chandan ka tikka on their forehead. Kudos to the wardrobe department for their research and implematation.

So all around in all departments they are doing an excellent job. I hope they keep up the good work.

I never noticed the silver glass but you are bang on with all your observations .. the creatives and the art department deserve full credit !

wah wah Hema sis, kya detailing hai...ek dum fantastico. I m impressed. u know guys this may be weird but i think the chemistry he has with his dead wife's portrait was also so cute...i mean i really hope they show some flash backs that wuld be really attention to detail...coz then we can compare his dead wife to santo and how much of a change of personality they had...i mean Subhadhara was his kohinoor...they shuld show flashbacks...please.

LOL Sammie I think you are getting withdrawal symptoms because they are not showing his romantic side .. hehehehe

But I agree - flashbacks between the once happily married couple- PLZ!
