This is perhaps the first time that Ekta / Balaji Telefilms is representing a culture in the correct / authentic manner!

Most of the time, Balaji's idea of showing Punjabi's would be women in glitzy clothes and sprouting some random Punjabi words or her complete distortion of the Bengali culture! Even in KSBKBT, only the family was shown to be a Gujrathi, there was no detailing in either the characters, their dialouges, their clothes or even the ambience to suggest anything remotely Gujrathi!

In that manner, I feel that Bandini in just a span of 3 days has proved to be the most authentically researched serial of her's in the recent times!

There is a 'feel' of Gujrath in the whole ambience, right from the character's to their clothes, to the dialouges and the setting!

hahahah yeaaaa she has really butchered Bengali culture in her shows .. so this is a refreshing change .. and she has actually taken time to show the small nuances Gujarati people follow.. just like saying Jai Shri Krishna .. every time ..

Manasi is not a gujju .. she's a Maharashtrian .. marathi speaking..

I am guessing because she's a joshi .. but then joshis are both Gujarati/Marathi .. lol
