Bandhan 9th February 2015 Written Update

Riya thinks why she keeps meeting Ganesh every time and wonders how she is related to him. A man plans to keep Ganesh for himself. Ganesh holds the rakhi and wants her to tie it for him. The man tries to take Ganesh away but Riya stops them and ties a rakhi for Ganesh. She tells the man that Ganesh will be accompanying her since he's her brother.

Sameer is watching the video where Riya refuses the internship proposal. He holds a plate of food and walks into a room where somebody wearing a hood is seated. Sameer takes a seat in front of him. The man is tied up and Sameer says he is being punished.

Riya's mother is preparing kheer on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Her friend decides to call her up but is interrupted by the sound of an elephant. All of them rush outside.

On being asked by her father, Riya says she met the elephant on the way and hence decided to bring it home. Kajal informs them that Ganesh wanted Riya to tie a rakhi for him. Hence, she finally decided to bring him home. Her mother doesn't approve of an elephant staying with them but Riya convinces mummy saying that he won't create any trouble. Riya introduces her parents to Ganesh. Ganesh recalls Darpan's real parents and doesn't agree to what Riya says. Riya chides him and Ganesh moves forward to take their blessings. She looks very happy and her parents are pleasantly surprised, especially her mother. Riya begs her mother to let Ganesh stay with them and her father agrees. Her mummy gets annoyed and walks away.

Riya receives a call from Sameer but she doesn't answer and says she won't work with Sameer. The phone rings constantly and Kajal tells her to answer the call. Sameer asks if she reached home on time and tells her to be in office tomorrow but Riya refuses. Sameer says she needs to have patience and Riya doesn't seem to be happy about it. Sameer says he never wanted to hurt her.

Riya's father asks his wife why is so worried. Her mother says there is a reason behind him coming here. Riya always had nightmares about the elephant. In order to keep things under control she used to hide Riya's drawing papers consisting of the elephant's pictures. Looks like the elephant is somehow connected to Riya's past and hence should not be allowed to stay here. Her father asks if they are committing a crime by hiding the truth from her. Ganesh overhears her father saying how they found Riya on the shore. He recalls how Darpan fell inside the boat and was separated from him.

PRECAP:The man escapes from Sameer's home and goes to the place where Riya is walking. She is scared and asks him what he wants.
