When Singapore, India and several other Asian countries began adopting the American Idol format of having judges critique participants upfront, I knew it wouldn't go down well most participants. Serves us right anyway for mindlessly mimicking American behaviour. We now have to suffer such theatrics as the Simbu-Prithviraj one.

I so agree with you on this point bonheur. American/European way of thinking is a lot different, and is still like that in this very day and age.

i didn't see any latest episodes of jodi no1 due to... i don't know... lost of interest?! but lots of interesting thing has happened - nowadays, most competition shows are showing these kinda things... verbal fighting, judges being unfair, and contestants being rude!!! all of this to just make the tpr rating go up?! but here simbu just making a BIG drama - we're not fools you know!😡 simbu... just get out of this show! you don't deserve the judge seat, maybe something else!😕

awww.. i do feel sorry for prithivi now & even more sorry for uma. i hope she finds some other means to repay the loan of 3 lakhs.

i won't say what prithivi did was right but if i was in his place & i was being humiliated, i wouldn't give this show a 2nd glance & would have walked out like prithivi did.

if only some judges had kept their abnormally large traps shut instead of provoking the contestants purposely, this whole soap opera wouldn't have happened.

i think this jodi no.1 season two has the most rubbishy judges i've ever seen in an indian reality show. a puppet, a jalra & a egomaniac. wow.. what a team!🤢🤢
