Why the hell they made Balika Vadhu a daily at 6.30pm..

The trps on weekends are usually low and affect the average trps..

Under such scenario I don't expect the show to do well...
August might be the utlimate month..

Thanks to the audience who managed to put the the show to the back seat. Audience was taken for granted for long, and even then the show was hanging on because there was still some loyal audience, who in a hope that there will be sunshine at the end of the tunnel, kept tuning to 8:00 pm slot.

But of course makers didn't do justice to audiences' loyalty. They gave horrible end to both Jagya and Anandi, and so they don't deserve any support from audience thereafter.

Good on the audience, they still rule, and hold a great power in making a show a success or a failure. A show's brand name alone, cannot be the reason for it's success, it has to be supported by good quality and continuous improvement. And if makers think they can dish out anything because it's their story then they are mistaken.

And if ardent fans of BV think that others who have complains with the show, should use their remotes; then hopefully they too have realised what switching channels does to their favourite show. And hopefully in future, they will choose to call a spade a spade, instead of covering up for makers' obvious faults.

BV's current status should be a wake up call for TV industry that the show can't go on forever.

On a personal note, I thank BV for it's first four years of story, concept, direction and wonderful acting. Post that, BV had time to revamp on it's continuous degrading quality, but they chose not to, and hence they deserve this fate.

I don't care anymore for how long the show lasts from hereafter For me, BV losing it's prime spot is a sign of degradation, which audience has managed to bestow upon it's makers.

Stupid decision on part of the channel was to drag the show by revamping it.

Revamped BV cannot attract the viewers who have been loyal to the show for 8 years and the characters of the ORIGINAL BALIKA VADHU.

What made Balika Vadhu a huge success is the story characters and performances.Even when the story was not good the characters and good performances ran the show because they were so popular and had attracted loyalty from the viewers.Even when the actors were replaced the show was still a huge success because of the strong story and the characters.

Without the three ingredients story characters and performances from the actors a show cannot be a success even if it goes by the same name.

By taking away the 8PM slot from Balika Vadhu and giving it to a new show the channel is admitting that the revamped Balikavadhu is a flop.

Revamped Balika Vadhu has nothing in terms of quality that defined original Balika Vadhu neither the cast nor the creative team can match up to the original team of Balika Vadhu and neither is it capable of giving a good show on it's own merit to take the place of original Balika Vadhu.
Nandini is never a lead material to begin with. They tried their level best to create space as a lead at the expense of Anandi's story but did not succeed.
The channel misread the viewers minds.

Jhalra story and characters including Nimboli ran on the shoulders of the story of re union of Anandi and her daughter.Viewers tuned in to see how and when the mother daughter unite.

Neither Nimboli Mangala pair is no Anandi Dadisa pair nor Nimboli and Mangala could match up to Anandi and Dsa's characters in terms of popularity.

Instead of revamping Anandi's story they killed her off in such a horrible way to make way for a substandard lead Nandini. Why would loyal audience take this nonsense?

Now it is clear that the so called fandoms of the new cast is not enough to give TRPs that can make it sustainable proposition at 8PM.

Good that viewers taught the channel a lesson by turning away from the show.

@The Channel misread viewers minds:

Well the channel never cared for viewers minds. It's just that some viewers realised it earlier enough and started complaining, while some remained in an illusion that makers are doing their best.

Good to know that with Anandi out of picture, the illusion is broken and reality is becoming clear.

Unfortunately, this is how BV had to find it's failure after receiving a commanding success. Good for them.

I think on one or the other day, the show had to meet this fate. I don't think it was sudden. The show can't go on forever, it had to be axed one day. It could have ended gracefully, but that didn't happen. After seeing the circus that it has turned into, the sooner the better it ends.

I have to agree that BV makers stopped caring for viewers emotions long back. Had they cared, they wouldn't have killed Shiv and turned Anandi's life into non ending tragedy just for the sake of stretching the show..

I lost interest and hopes from BV's story in early 2014. After that I stick to the show because I was emotionally attached to some characters.. Then came the point where I had to pay big price for that attachment.. Still I followed the happenings in the show in hopes to see happy and content moments in the protagonist's life. But unfortunately it turned worse. Now I really don't care if the show shuts shop or keeps running for few more years..

Anandi's presence in the show or it is her journey that kept the viewers hooked.
What viewers wanted to see in her story and what makers wanted to tell through her story may or may not be in sync with each other. But the fact remains that it is Anandi's story that mattered to the viewers and they put up with the diluted version of Anandi's story irrespective of the fact whetherthey liked the makers version or not because the writers knew how to tell the story.

Anandi's story which has been diluted in an attempt to make Nandini/Nimboli shine found more audience than the undiluted kahani of Lamhe pyar ki of Nandini's 😛

If the channel wanted to cash in on brand Balika Vadhu they should have retained the essence of Balika Vadhu.

They say that films are actors' canvas while television the writers' canvas. So good writers who can create characters which can connect with the viewers is the first and foremost thing.

It's not about blindly supporting creative team but creative team matters more in television fiction and it is the characters created by them which make impact. Good performances from actors add to the overall quality of the show.

It's not just Anandi's exit but it is the exit of the creative team too that contributed to the deterioration.

Every show has to end at sometime or other.
It is their refusal to end the show on a high note that had lead to this.

Anandi's Balika Vadhu was still a slot leader most of the times because of the loyalty of the audience to the character and also because the show offered something for people who were not fond of saas bahu sagas or mindless fluff that passes off as love stories.

If they intended to give away the slot to the new show they would have changed the timings with the introduction of the leap itself. They are doing it only because revamped BV fell short of expectations.

Not all viewers were interested in Anandi only , neither it was only Anandi's character/ story which kept viewers hooked nor it was Anandi's serial only and only because of her it was a success I as a viewer never had any interest in Anandi For me some other characters and actors were more worth a watch than Anandi
Everyone should give his /her opinion instead of trying to show off only their favorites mattered to everyone
