Hey Rohini,
Good to see you.

I don't have much to add. Everyone has said most of it, and I am sharing similar thoughts.

All I can say is, it has ended for me. I came back to TV soaps after a 5 years break only to watch BV. It was unique. And this was the only soap I watched.

Will remember BV for some of its beautiful creations, will try to dump the crap and move on.

Think guys why N does not remember any of her past
Remember the trauma she went thru when that adopted house whatever that guy tried to rape her and her brother saved her --
Any child will block all that and what happened before that from her mind
So what's shocking N not remember anything of her past ?
Wish somehow some where in the post leap the cvs will show that as many just take everything ...

Her tears cannot even be called as crocodile tears...The crocodiles may feel insulted if we do so.

Regarding the foster mother, I think you are right... She calls her daughter a 'dushman' in front of nandini. But she may be calling nandini a dushman in front of sudha.

Can you believe it, the daughter of an ex-Collector of Udaipur is an orphan living at the mercy of some strangers?

This is an insult to the previous BV story and the original writers.. They should take an objection to this nonsense.

Just imagine if viewers like us are feeling so frustrated, how much would the original writers be with the story now
Is this what Shiv and Anandi's daughter deserves ? What did they live and die for ?
They have ruined such a fantastic story

However traumatic the experience is, it doesn't make one completely forget 12 years of her life and who her parents and family are. It doesn't make any sense at all. Talking about traumas, Nandini had gone through many such incidents in her life in past as well.

Alchemist, I hope it holds up because so far it's been too good to be true. The communal angle -- Dhara's efforts to unite the Hindu and Muslim boys starts a mini riot -- needs to be handled with great care and it is not the easiest stuff for Indian soaps to show. They usually avoid caste communal issues altogether. The show is unusual for making cricket its theme and exploring communal tensions over and above that.

I do recommend that you catch up on the earlier episodes, especially the ones where the father coaches young Dhara. They were superlative.

For me, it is not just the name Balika Vadhu - my problem is - why this seemingly new serial is made like a sequel of Balika Vadhu? Who knew Nimboli will become so bad after becoming Nandini? They could have started a new serial - on the line of story they are showing - and it would still be better because no one would know from where this girl (Nandini) came - what is her past etc.
For me other leaps of BV also were a put off - did not watch for a long time after first leap (it looked like a usual teenage love story at that time) and started watching after Anandi decided that she will re start her studies. Then initial Jhalra episodes were also boring, but later the story picked up. So, I am sill willing to give this new serial a chance - but knowing Nandini's past is a big put off - cannot connect this Nandini with the chirpy street smart girl - she was good as long as she was with M.

O yes they can forget the past I have read this
Many kinds of traumas make young kids block out all their pasts some block out some of their pasts some go on with their lives living the horror in their minds all the time without forgetting the past

But agree the cvs take the things and mold it the way they want

I have nothing to say about the way the show is shaping up.🥱
But on the topic Nandini not remembering anything did she forget anything at all?
She remembers every single thing that happened in her life while she lived in Akheraj's house. At least from the visuals that were shown.
So why is it being said that she has forgotten?
If I remember right the foster father said she didn't speak a word for many days.
More than not remembering it is more like trying to keep a lid on all that happened in those twelve years of life.More about not wanting to talk about them.
Her not wanting to get married is obviously related to all that she went through in Akheraj's house and that molestation attempt after her mother's death where Shivam killed that molester.

Problem is not with Nandini's character but more to do with the actress and the way the story is written and scenes are executed.

As for her landing up at foster parents care there are too many missing pieces. we still don't know what happend to J's family. She obviously doesn't know much about her father like Shivam does because she spent very little time with her mother.
Had she spent long enough with her mother she would have known about her father and would have never asked that kind doctor if he would be her father
