I think the CVs puposelfully recreated the scene to drive home the message that it is the circumstances that dictate action rather than accidental happenings.

We were subjected to endless torture during last few months and I am sure that the old CVs tried that to prolong the serial as much as possible. The new ones are trying to make things move fast not wasting much footage. Now the serial is much more watchable. I always wanted to see the twins together like true brother and sister and not some strangers suspecting each other.

It is good that Mangala is out of the scene during this crucial period. Shivam will not be orphaned as Nandini is there to take care of his emotional needs. And Nandini can concentrate on her studies instead of spending her time to please her so called mother and her whims.
